Depends on the spider as well.
Grass spiders don’t do well indoors, yet they wander inside in search of something to catch.
Or mates if it is a wandering male.
:-(
I catch them and let them go outside where the good stuff is.

I've had an unusual number of funnel spiders in the house this fall, since our first hard frost.

The dog goes out to do his *business* and lays on the lawn to survey his kingdom. I think they are hitchhiking on him, back into the house.

At one time, I could pick them up with my hand and throw them outside....but read recently that they can bite. I didn't know that ....guess I've been lucky.

Is this what you call a grass spider?
