Depends on the spider as well.
Grass spiders don’t do well indoors, yet they wander inside in search of something to catch.
Or mates if it is a wandering male.

I catch them and let them go outside where the good stuff is.
The dog goes out to do his *business* and lays on the lawn to survey his kingdom. I think they are hitchhiking on him, back into the house.
At one time, I could pick them up with my hand and throw them outside....but read recently that they can bite. I didn't know that ....guess I've been lucky.
