Gary Prezeau of NASAâs Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., describes the results of his theoretical model that goes some way to explain how streams of dark matter particles may interact with our planet's gravitational field.
"A (dark matter) stream can be much larger than the solar system itself, and there are many different streams crisscrossing our galactic neighborhood," said Prézeau in a JPL press release. "When gravity interacts with the cold dark matter gas during galaxy formation, all particles within a stream continue traveling at the same velocity."
As these streams begin to interact with a planet, according to results from his computer simulation, the streams pass straight through, focusing as an "ultra-dense filament,"producing many dark matter "hairs" that seem to sprout well above Earthâs surface. This stream will not interact with our planet's normal matter, it will pass through as if nothing were there, but channeled by the intensity of Earthâs gravity.
However, it's not just Earth; all gravitational fields, and therefore all the planets of the solar system, should experience an intense concentration of dark matter, projecting strands of dark matter far into interplanetary space. For Earth, the dark matter streams will emerge from the planet, concentrating as "roots" of the dark matter hairs around 600,000 miles above the surface...

You gotta rank this guy with the lady who says being white is a disease. They’re both morons.
Gary’s research is nice but useless. There doesn’t seem to be any way to create dark matter credits that can enrich Al, destroy the middle class and replace the free market with complete gov’t controls.
It takes global warming to burn off the dark matter beards. Without global warming the entire planet will just go dark. We’re all gonna die.....
scarves have always been popular in one form or another.
however the “Palestinians” did try and make certain scarves of certain patterns into a fashion statement.
young men wearing beards/hipsters, steampunkers, etc are more a combination of various factors- wanting a manly look in a world where men are not really allowed to be men, it’s a retro fashion trend, and not wanting to shave your face every day.
But Earl definitely is.
Wow. I hate those scarves. But I never thought of imitation. The beard thing happened in America when Castro took over Cuba.
I apologize for all my typos. Neck problems and tiny keyboard.

Y8u are right scarves have always been in fashion. But there are many ways to wear a scarf and the Palestinian scarf style has been around and promoted for a number of years and it is easily converted into a headscarf.

Thanks BenLurkin.
Thanks. You’d have thought I’d remember that!
You did a good job on that one. Nice hairdo!
Same-same string, or M-Theory, which can’t be tested as the energies are so extreme, but it’s too mathematically beautiful to ignore.
One thing about this dark matter though: if it’s gravitationally bound why wouldn’t it coalesce to planet and star sized masses? Even if we passed right through it, we still wouldn’t miss gravitational fields so huge? It seems we’d be torn asunder...whole systems knocked out of whack.
Something appears amiss.
Plus, razor blades only seem to be getting more expensive.
No. Think of anyone in the West from US Grant to JEB Stuart, Robert E. Lee, Abe Lincoln, none who grew beards to mock Islamists nor 'look badass'. Most Islamist's beards look moldy to me, they aren't full, rich beards like those of European stock can grow. For some of us, shaving is a real pain (heavy beard, baby face), and if we go the clean shaven route we may have to shave a couple of times a day to look well groomed.
Trim a beard once a week and you are good to go.
