Kettles showed leaching to be well within the CoE specified release limit, however coffee machines showed in some cases alarmingly high levels of lead, especially post-decalcification, one particular machine giving results 150 times the recommended limit.
Levels of nickel, manganese, chromium and zinc exceeded limits up to fourfold. On the plus side concentrations of leached elements did reduce throughout each individual day and overall throughout the 3 days testing combined.
Filter machines showed significantly higher levels than Pod machines.

I brew my coffee in a stove top percolator. The drip machines never cook it enough. But, I've gotten to be a bit picky about coffee. I like Fresh ground coffee mixed with some French Market with chicory in it. Now that's coffee.

I’ll put this down as #337 on my list of things to worry about. (#1, of course, is GoreBull Warming).

Actually, that’s what happens if you use non-dairy creamer like creamora.
It.. does terrible things.

For crying out loud! Just yesterday in our local news they reported that if you burn your toast that can lead to Cancer. Everything we eat can be harmful. Sorry, I will eat my darn toast with my cup of Coffee (with filter) and my Ham and Eggs. There ! Haven't you heard? White Mice cause cancer.
The scientists finally figured out that they're the only common factor in ALL the studies...
