As with Nancy Pelosi and Obama in “certifying†his eligibility for candidacy for President, all it takes is a party official such as Paul Ryan or even Rinse and Repeat to do the same. This is precedent and if she or anyone else wants to refute it, then go through the steps to invalidate Obama’s Presidential eligibility.
That won’t wash this time..we got the bum rush from Buckwheat..people are paying attention this time around.. ..wishing it and weasel words won’t work. The candidates are either qualified or they are not. Is Cruz so important to the future of this country that we are willing to allow another fraudulent election to take place?
I for one do not feel his election if that is what happens would be “fraudulent”. He is my candidate.
It is not a fraudulent election with Cruz. He meets the requirements in place at the time of his birth, unlike O’Zero.
There are two views on this legal issue. It does us no good to wish it wasn’t so. It is my view that Cruz needs to get this out of the way with SCOTUS as soon as possible. Many of us , me included , were quite sure of obama’s ineligibility because of his birth off US soil, in Kenya. The issue is not that Cruz’s citizenship . That is a given. The framers added a special clause that one did not have to be just a citizen but a “Natural Born” citizen and I don’t think they were talking Cesarean section. What did they mean? Many scholars believe “natural Born meant ‘Born here” because there was expressed concern about a Foreign take over by one in “sheep’s clothing” i.e. citizenship from outside the soil of our country.
We all know this is coming from Hillary if he emerges. If he doesn’t get this resolved it will inhibit his selection even as vice president. I wish it wasn’t so but this must be resolved quickly by SCOTUS. We cannot wait. I hope he wins this legal fight. He is a great leader.
