One the weapons used in Spectre was a handgun with a KPOS coversion kit.
Are these street legal in the US and does any one have any experience with them?
I would like a FN57 with a KPOS. In fact, I would prefer this platform.
Any thoughts.
TRUTH!
My only question is what sane person would ever do such a thing? It is nothing more than a vain attempt to make a Glock look "tacti-cool."
The MSRP of $600 would be much more effectively utilized to:
1.) Buy a second Glock ("Two is one and one is none). or
2.) Buy a well made AKM
Not many things in the world more personal than one's choice of a firearm. Choose your own, within what the law allows, but with all respect... I hope you're not making a choice based on something you saw in a movie?
If you don't have any firearms right now and you're in the market for a personal weapon, (no better time to start than right now), I'd suggest a plain ol' fighting shotgun. Plenty of them out there with lots of bang for the buck...
If you need something concealable, a good serviceable handgun... make, model, and caliber of your own choosing, of course.
Whatever you choose, don't break or bend the law.
You are correct. BUT the folding AR buffer tube configuration works quite well to increase contact points for greater stability and does not require a tax stamp/registry, so long as a vertical fore-grip is not added ... AFGs are okay though.
“KIPA kit HIGHLY effective also when used with other attachments. “
Is that the religious gear, the M-16 or the Merkava ? /goy
Awesome looking toy.
But I prefer the natural pistol’s configuration for conceal-ability.
Oh dear Lord. Another Bond movie, another stupid gun.
I doubt they could sell it if not legal. Just can’t put a shoulder stock on it or it magically becomes an SBR. May not be legal in Nanny States.
Just a little friendly joke from your local Read-Sea Pedestrian.
Superficially:
The “KIPA” is the “YARMULKE” or “SKULLCAP.”
More profoundly:
Ditch the tchotchkes (baubles,) Love the LORD, AIM STRAIGHT.
(and have a sense of humor.)

If you are in a country where it is very difficult to get licenses for firearms, or where the number of firearms you may have is limited by law, such items become more useful.
Interesting choice. May I ask how you came to it?
small caliber, pdw.
