Anybody else see a visibly upset Jeraldo lamenting that he chartered a jet to retrieve his daughter from France but the airports were closed. How crass. Hundreds of thousands trapped in France just like his "studying abroad" (Paris partying) daughter. What a true liberal. Don't ever trust them. When it comes right down to it, they are only concerned about themselves.
If I were a parent I would not have allowed my daughter to go to Europe, at this very dangerous time! He is an idiot. I won’t travel outside the US, and even that is limited now.
I also said that last night in a discussion about this. I agree with that as well. The thought “sitting duck” came to mind when I heard him on the phone with her and told her to stay in the room and keep her phone charged.
I am only talking about the plane incident that was the original part of this post.
Rivera was barely holding himself together last night when he had the daughter on the phone on Shepard Smith's program last night. Shepherd broke in and told Rivera there were terrorists still on the loose (those helping the terrorists), and Rivera told the daughter to lock her door and stay in the room and keep her cell phone charged.
Today Rivera managed to get permission for a plane to land in Paris to get her, and he is in a plane going over right now.
Some Freepers are saying France deserves this for letting in refugees, but 10,000 of them landed in New Orleans yesterday, so do we deserve our citizens being killed? Sometimes, Freepers disappoint me in their knee jerk hateful messages with no empathy toward world citizens living their lives just like them.
French citizens do not have the ability to stop their government doing something and we do not either. Do we deserve to be killed because Obama does something? I have traveled France and the citizens are just like us - working and taking care of their families. They do not deserve to die.
Do you suppose that Jerry thought about the sacred bond between a parent and a child while putting the military sons and daughters in harms way?
His daughter was at the stadium where bombs went off.
Hind sight is always 20/20.
Dear Jerry:
Just because you are on TV makes you think you are somehow special and that your daughter’s life, health, and convenience is worth more than anyone else’s.
Well, guess what? You are dead wrong.
Why not take some more selfies of your manly body and post them for ISIS to see. That will scare them to death.
I agree. None deserve this in France or here. Now is the time for the civilized world to unite and stop this mess. It can be done.
I missed the part where he was elected President to be able to make those decisions.
The daughter in Paris is there as an exchange student studying in Paris.
No..i am not traveling to Europe because of tsa, and Muslims. No hindsight necessary. You may want to think about cancelling your trip.
I would be the same way. If my child was in Paris and I had the means, I would do what he did. And I would be lamenting about not being able to eave immediately.
Lots of things to fault him for, but not this.
I guess you missed his “reporting” during the Iraq war?
This is exactly what they want you to do. Congratulations, you have let them run your life for you.
You guys who just continue to look at this one dimensionally remind me of liberals.
No I did not miss that. I am just trying to figure out how you made the gigantic leap to make him responsible for them being there.
I wonder just how much credibility to give Faux News when they present people like Jerry the three dollar bill, Juan the PBS reject to us as sources for info. Ole Faux News drops another notch in the credibility column.
LOL
I believe they never cared what we think and looking foolish does not bother them one whit.
Their conscience and humility left a long time ago.
+1.
