I thought she had a good voice.
I’ve enjoyed the exchange as well
Have a great Sunday
That just about covers everything in television. It drives me nuts how many TV series start out brilliantly and then croak at about the fifth episode. This year it's Blindspot and Limitless that started out as great ideas and then devolved into poorer than average police procedurals. I swear there are, because of a lack of talent, itinerant writers of the different genres who move from series to series to write the early episodes.
I first noticed it with Miami Vice. The first five episodes were great. It then devolved into self-caricature.
For those of you who don’t recall, her song “Breath Me” was featured on the final episode of “Six Feet Under” on HBO’
Whether you agree or not, this is widely regarded as the single best parting episode of a series - ever!

Actually, I tend to agree!
Trump did himself proud, not as a comedian but as a campaigner with enough sense of humor to risk himself live on TV. Not a super bad show last night given that there must have been some discomfort among participants.
What few here are willing to admit is that comedy is hard, risky, and depends on its audience...when it's good it's good and when it's bad it can be horrible.
Remember Andy Kaufman? Gallager? Both were terrible but highly popular. Remember Woody Allen? OK, he's still kind of around but his formerly great humor turned sour long ago. Remember Ernie Kovaks? Always off beat and never failed to be better than anyone else could hope for...I wonder if he'd have an audience today. I wonder if Mel Brooks could even get financing for one of his great movies today?
Can you imagine a reborn Benny Hill or even Month Python on TV today?
SNL has always been willing to risk failure as well as success and over the years and over-all it has done it well. Today's cast may not be what we remember from the 70's but there's still some gold in those late Saturday nights.

I like your humor!
Well, thank you.
It is the only thing that I have that balances out my intense hatred of obama and muslims.
One would go nuts if one could not laugh in spite of those two subjects.
Went to NBC website to watch since my days of staying up past 9 o’clock are over.
Yes, what was the point of the creature wallowing around on the floor? Perhaps she was in heat.
Weirdest mess I ever saw. It totally distracted from the music which wasn’t the worst I’ve heard on SNL.
I think she has a great voice, have you heard her duet with Tony Bennett, Lady and the Tramp? It is awesome.
Actually the song was The Lady is a Tramp.
