Fox News host and top ratings man Bill O'Reilly took after George Will over his criticism in a column that Will wrote about the O'Reilly latest book 'Killing Reagan'
BOR never did say where that Cannon “memo” is located after he told Will he was wrong that both have not ever seen.
“The JFK Kennedy School of Government that was established some 50 years ago. Itâs a second rate department compared to political science departments at Coumbia, Cornell, Princeton and Stanford”

I am not disputing your claim but where did you hear/read that?
.
Hmmmmm
The GOPe brings in George Will.
>> I thought OâReilly looks petty, hateful, and childish.
That’s the BOR I remember, all right. Don’t see him much any more.
George Will is a piece of work in his own right.
Cage match!
Takes a hack to know one. LOL! Although George Will is particularly odious. He’s really bitter now that his wife lost her job with Mitt Walker’s campaign. :-)
LoL!
Yeah, best thing on BOR in a long, long time.
Well said. The George Will segment could have been an interesting five-minute debate on Reagan's mental fitness. But instead O'Reilly decided to throw a bullying hissy fit, all because someone dared to criticize him.
It's hard to believe any could make George Will look sympathetic, but O'Reilly managed to do just that.
It’s a good thing they weren’t in the same studio across the desk from one another. I’m afraid they would have gone to dukes. It did get ugly. LOL! In Obama’s “Amerika”, everyone seems to be really pissed off all of the time. (We’re all DemocRATS now.) I hope the “historical first black president” nonsense was worth all of the bull**** we’re seeing now. I don’t think it was. My grandchildren know that I didn’t vote for the bastard. They can tell their grandchildren that for me.
LOL! Pedro offers you his protection.
“This was amazing! Two hacks trading blows about lying and being hacks. It was a thing of beautiful!”
Thank you. You gave me a much needed laugh today. Clash of the Titans, only in their case, 2 feet tall. I don’t need to watch it, your recap was perfect!
From what I have heard, George Will was against Reagan years ago.
I will go with George Will on this...and the article he wrote had an insight that was not fully explored - either in his article - or in the ‘free-for-all’ on the Bill Baxter OReilly show on 11/06/15...
OReilly and his coauthor did not bother to go, or send a research assistant to the Reagan library and do any meaningful research to validate the outrageous claim made in his book. (Will states no one registered and visited the library....so the assumption is that it wasn’t done...and I am sure that if OReilly HAD done so - he could prove it.)
The claim by OReilly is that there were many days where Reagan was ‘incapacitated’ - unable to come downstairs from the 2nd floor residence - and do work.
SIMPLE THING - go through the daily records that show what Reagan’s schedule was - show where he had days where he did nothing. Should be easy to do...if the claim is true. OTOH ...if the records show day after day after day of busy work, busy with briefings, etc....then the claims made by OReilly are demonstrably BS. (A nominal government worker earns 4 hours of sick leave per pay period...times 26 pay periods in a year...or 104 hrs per year...or 13 days of sick leave. Assume Reagan might have a cold or be otherwise sick for up to 15 days per year....and find my 20 or 30 days when he was in DC (not at his ranch - on a nominal ‘working vacation’...) - and had no activities shown on the White House logs. It would take a researcher probably less than 2 weeks to go through the logs and find those days. If he can’t send someone to do the research - it proves he is either extremely sloppy in research....or truth is not important to him (or both.)
Apparently, that's the basis for the book. No one killed Reagan, he died of Alzheimer's. The book postulates that the shooting caused him to develop the disease.
Now THAT would be a match to see and hear - Billy O’Riley and Mark Levin. $ on Levin.

“George Will can be a tiresome intellectual, but I will choose him over BOR any day of the week.”
Me, too. And that in spite of George’s uncurious mind in the Vince Foster matter and his obnoxious take on the Tea Party and Donald Trump. Come to think of it, George is afraid of controversy and O’Reilly thrives on it. Put BOR and Jerry Rivers in a gunny sack and toss them in the river. Put George in charge of watching baseball and out of the commentating biz.
OâReilly vs Will? Sometimes there just is not anybody to root for.
We can end the thread on that one ;)
