As Donald Trump's poll numbers have faltered, his rhetoric, if you can believe it, has heated up. Except now he's starting to attack his Republican opponents from the left.

The one you started?

What are the rules?

What semantics game? The one you started?

What?

I think you have me confused with another poster.

Trump supported McCain in 2008 but then praised Obama in 2009.

Trump gave his financial backing to the Romney Campaign. Give it another try?

Oh, I see your confusion. You think my comment about 2009 is supposed to signify that Trump supported Obama in 2012.

Wowza, get a grip.

Yep and we know the GOPe is now the Democrat party and the Dems are now the Socialist party. Everything is moving left and conservatives are being outnumbered. Unfortunately, the American Idol attitude is pervasive among the newly minted voters. These kids have been programmed to vote but they'd vote for Justin Timberlake if he ran for office. They simply don't care/are misguided/or too busy instagraming to worry about the issues and the ramifications of their misguided vote.

I'm not a Trump fan, I've posted about his nonsense here in Palm Beach County...Cruz is my pick; but until we figure out a way to keep everybody else home on Election Day, Trump may be where we need to go.

Too funny, since I didn't attend public schools, I didn't attend school at all? Now there is brilliance.

My favorite argument for Trump: He was forced to forfeit his principles to continue to make billions.

Forced to give to Reid, Pelosi , Emmanuel, Clinton, and even Weiner because 1 or 2 billion just not enough.

By the way, how much has the billionaire donated to Vets from his own coffers?

No worries, I won't post to you again, since you don't seem to be interested in reality.

The idea that a medium with a niche--as opposed to a general--socio/economic focus, should be taken seriously in an effort to define Left & Right, is silly on its face. Your journal has a certain role to play; but your focus is market driven, not philosophic.

Get a little perspective.

What do you care? You’ve admitted to being an Obamacare supporter and that abortion isn’t a big deal to you. A liberal candidate is right up your alley.

My initial post to you was as a response to the semantics game you started.

You just didn’t make a very good play, so I simply joined in.

"When conservative media types like Breitbart, Mark Levin or Rush start calling Trump a liveral, then I might believe it."

I don't wait for talk show hosts to tell me what to think. I prefer to do it myself by researching and vetting candidates.

In July Trump himself told "Morning Joe" that he's a Democrat in some ways. But don't take his word for it. Wait for Rush and Mark to tell you. /s

I just explained the confusion. What part of my above explanation do you not understand? I wasn't playing any game. I was documenting for the poster Trump's political leanings in 2008 and 2009.

To which you barged in about Romney supporting Romney in 2012.

Trump was a McCain and Romney supporter and contributor.”

...so was I! In 2008 zero had me so worried I would’ve contributed to my neighbors golden retriever.

"Trump supported McCain in 2008 but then praised Obama in 2009."

Trump donated $25,000 to help put Terry McAuliffe, the Clintons' bag man and one of the filthiest, most crooked leftist sleazebags (that's saying a lot) into the governor's mansion of my state.

True, but Trump praised Obama early on in 2009. Later in 2009 and after that, Trump started criticizing Obama.

So unlike you and I Trump wasn't so worried about Obama in the first part of 2009.

That was in 2013 if I'm not mistaken. That's just two short years ago.

I did barge in when I saw that you fumbled.

That’s how the game you are playing works.

You need more practice so you can play a better game.

The fumble is you being paranoid.

Or are you just dumb?

My two comments about Trump's political leanings in 2008 and 2009 stand.

And you also won’t see the telltale signs of Donald Trump’s true and unequivocal patriotism that are cast in concrete and in quiet acts over the decades. You could see these things, but you choose not to.

You make an excellent point. There is, most unfortunately, a major confusion among many Conservatives, as to how to define a Conservative--or how to define the Left/Right dichotomy.

A measure that defines the divide in terms of commitment to a particular people--as for example the rooted American people, or the landed class in 1789 France--and those who have antagonistic interests, can be just as valid as adherence to a litany of stands on issues that may or may not be recognized as immediately relevant to one's human commitments--to the interests one wants to conserve.

Most of those litany of stands, may not be seen as necessary to sort, by the individual committed to his own people, absent some focusing factor. This does not make a rejection of his standing by the people to whom he gives his loyalty, a rational rejection.

If Americans who want Donald Trump to take stronger ideological stands on certain issues, would first accept his basic loyalty; and follow up by urging his consideration of why those stands are important for the pursuit of the interests of the rooted American population; they might help bring us all better together.

This endless harping on what he did years ago, when he was focused on his personal business, not saving the American heritage, is counter-productive.

I wasn’t challenging your comments, although I maybe should, I was playing the semantics game against you.

You don’t play it very good, too obvious, and the missed shot ends up just looking dumb.

Anyway, I have a life, continue on without me.
