I waited for Mr. Ward. The HAS to be a World Series thread on this forum. Read tweece for typos.
Sitting here in KC biting my nails. Hate to see Royals lose but would prefer they clinch in KC. Trying to remember it’s just a game.
Extra innings.
Win or lost tonight, this team just does not give up.

I live in Buffalo. I know what it’s like to be an underdog team from the mid-west (Buffalo IS in the mid-west, for those who don’t know). I have bitten more nails than I care to remember. You guys have at least one it (Super Bowls, World Series). I, sadly, have never had that experience.
Now Cespedes’ selfish insistence to stay in the game with bases loaded is probably the real reason the Mets might lose tonight.
When I first heard that the Tigers signed him my thought was ‘O Voy! Not that head case!’.
Mets can’t let this go to far. The bullpen ins’t that deep, and the Royals are too tenacious.
We are now seeing what would have happened if Collins had sent Familia out for the ninth.
Is there tenth inning Magic in the Amazin’s?
Whaddayuno . . . the Packers lost. Maybe the Lions have a chance after all . . . bwahahahahahahahaha!
Does Conforto have a blast in him tonight?
Cespedes being out is good for the Mets. He wasn’t hitting for beans and he fields like he’s playing soccer always kicking the ball with his foot instead of trying to catch it.
Stupid move by Collins leaving him in to pop up with the bases loaded, even if he got a hit he would have been thrown out at first from the outfield.
Harvey should have been yanked after the walk, Collins is a mess.

No rookie has EVER hit a walk off home run in a World Series.
Collins is like Leyland . . . too old for the job, time to retire.
Buck says that Niese is the best they have out there . . . uh oh, the kiss of death . . .
Relax, I am confident my Mets will compete the choke job.
If the Mets have a chance it’s going to be with Curtis, Wright and Murphy.
Mets have not had a hit since Conforto in the 7th.
The wienies from Queenies have a chance to keep the Series going in the bottom of the eleventh...
Stomach hurts. Head aches. Please, Royals, pull this out!
