“The results from the 2012 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), which are being released on Tuesday, show that teenagers in the U.S. slipped from 25th to 31st in math since 2009; from 20th to 24th in science; and from 11th to 21st in reading, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, which gathers and analyzes the data in the U.S.”
Just wow!
“Just wow!”
Your Ameriocentrist attitude is very microaggresive to me. I need to go text a friend and listen to some rap music now. Word.
Many of those countries above the U.S. separate students into college track and industrial arts track. They only test the college track students.
We in the U.S. socially promote everyone so no feelings are hurt, but our aggregate test scores suffer as a result.
Common Core sucks but didn’t cause these scores. This is a result of Liberal policies like don’t hold children back, you get a 20 avg. you pass with a c etc.It is also a result of inner city students who could’t care less bout eduaction because you can make a lot of money selling drugs and sitting on your azz in welfare.
The US scores reflect:
(1) Changing demographics.
(2) Lax discipline in schools allowing certain demographics to disrupt the classroom.
(3) The deterioration of standards in colleges that train teachers.
(4) A “results don’t matter” but “self-esteem matters” approach to education.
(5) Poor parenting.
Virtually impossible for me to believe the post as it has Israel near or at the bottom in science and math.
Name a former president in Grant’s tomb.
The answer is ...refrigerator
Hey, leave our kids alone. At least they are educated in 2 mommies and 2 daddies and transgenders. sex education and abortion are high on the agenda too. All this money spent per student and these are the results we get? Pitiful!
Or name the location of Grant’s Tomb...

Nobody gets held back in Japan : everybody passes , even kids who don’t attend classes . Of course we don’t have the drug and welfare problems here , though .
They have LOTS of Arabs in Israel.
Quit using trigger words.
I need to find a safe zone.
sqrt(3^2+4^2) = 5.
