Ok.... so while the arm is down the bear’s throat and it is in the throes of a gag reflex, it’s claws are absolutely shredding this invader’s body standing in front of it. Bear’s claws are to be feared as much a bear’s jaws.....

I knew a great old Korean War vet who did alot of behind enemy lines missions. He said the North used guard dogs and they were trained to take them out by feeding them the left arm then punching them in the diaphragm. Quick and quiet then you could stab as needed. It didn’t hurt that he was also a champion boxer.
