I'm realizing that most if not all of these no gun zone shooters had no employment to speak of. With too much time on their hands they seem to be influenced and are investing in violent videos and very bad internet influences. Many had parents who considered their kids normal and allowed them access to guns, violent videos and the Internet despite mental issues.

Since we ended workfare and went back to all welfare hasn't there been a growth in these shootings by the mostly unemployed?
Maybe we end welfare as we know it and require work to have many of these people connect more to the world and help them have real human contact and then perhaps we get far less shootings from unemployed people that are not earning a living?
There will always be grifters, ne’re do wells and community organizers.
It’s true that few of the recent shooters were working although some of them were students. But they usually weren’t on welfare either; they were supported by their families.
And most of them seem to have been so disturbed or had such bad attitudes that they couldn’t have been employed, or they would have been fired soon if they had.
Employment and firing go hand in hand, and firing has often been a trigger to these people.
ban schools...er I mean indoctrination camps...
The Connecticut school shooter and the Harper-Mercer kid were nut-cases being raised by single mothers - both with good jobs it seems. I think the more we tell everyone to do their own thing, the less we stigmatize weird behavior, the more free reign and encouragement we give to suicidal young males who chose to combine a rampage killing with their suicide. I think the best option educate parents to quit coddling future killers. Turn them in the psycho ward.
There were only four people on earth and no guns or welfare when Cain killed Abel.
If you ended welfare, people would be more dependent on friends and family to get through the tough times which would humble the recipient and would build respect for others rather than a sense of entitlement.
We have nearly 30% unemployment, that has to have an effect.
Here’s a scary thought ...
Imagine if Obummer launched a martial law campaign by announcing that the gummint can no longer recharge EBT cards, starting on the first on the month. All because those miserly Republican hate-mongering bastards who wouldn’t allocate enough additional funding, of course.
Later that night, every city in America catches fire. Police are overwhelmed, or afraid of being sued for doing their jobs, so the National Guard is called up to suppress the rioting.
Sound plausible?
That gravy train is pretty much over anyway.
Just heard the future with our legal immigration law will be to take in 7 immigrants for every single citizen birth.
There isn’t enough EBT funding in the world to pay for that.
Should we end welfare for peace and safety?
The short answer is yes.
But that’s just part of a much longer answer.
Knowledge will degenerate into a riot of subjective visions and Justice will be replaced by Pity as the cardinal human virtue, and all fear of retribution will vanish and The New Aristocracy will consist exclusively of hermits, bums and permanent invalids. The Rough Diamond, the Consumptive Whore, the bandit who is good to his mother, the epileptic girl who has a way with animals will be the heroes and heroines of the New Age, when the general, the statesman, and the philosopher have become the butt of every farce and satire. From W. H. Auden’s “For the Time Being,” a prophetic poem from a half century-ago (1944).
I agree, our culture is dissolving into factions lead by the largest which are dependent a to the government and an excuse for everything.
This culture is now pushing moral relativism.
Good = Bad
Christianity = Paganism
