Breaking: Umpqua Shooter Was Not a Republican
Bad Blue ^ | 10/02/2015 | Ryan Girdusky

Thursday’s horrific mass murder at Umpqua Community College in Oregon has everyone looking for answers and motives to how a young man became a monster–and some are jumping too quickly to conclusions.

Naturally, the media and other liberals have claimed the shooter, Chris Harper-Mercer, a 26-year-old, biracial man, was a Republican

At one point in his life, Mercer tagged himself as a Republican on his dating profile. Within hours after the shooting, CBS, Raw Story, Mediate, Heavy, The Daily Beast, and scores of Twitter users pounced all over this apparent revelation.

However, Red Alert Politics has discovered Mercer was in fact not a Republican or Democrat. He was a registered in Oregon as an Independent.

Oregon is a closed primary state, so registered Independents can not vote in the primaries of either party.

Here’s a screenshot of Mercer’s registration from the Oregon Secretary of State, after searching through his name and birthday – July 26, 1989. His full address has been blacked out in respect of the police investigation.

Feminist types usually hyphenate and pass it to their kids.

Not only that, Conservative Treehouse found out his dating profile has been edited and saved 10 times so far today, long after they killed the perp. Liberals everywhere are using this dating profile to slam conservative republicans but someone is either trolling or trying to set the narrative.

From the archive.org link:

Saved 10 times on October 2, 2015 Note This calendar view maps the number of times http://spiritualpassions.com/seeme/ironcross45.html was crawled by the Wayback Machine, not how many times the site was actually updated.

All 10 snapshot are the same.

I posted this for the benefit of web searches. The correct info needs to get out.

Who is still claiming this liberal was a Republican? They do that with every incident that happens btw.

I believe the biggest issue is that he was mentally ill. He was a graduate of Switzer Learning Center Torrance, CA They teach kids with special needs, emotional disturbances, and other issues.

I don’t believe we need to look that deep for the reasons. He was mentally ill.

Sites can be hacked, I still don’t trust the conservative republican narrative at all. It’s way too convenient and he was far far from being a conservative republican. He wasn’t even registered as a republican.

I smell a setup or narrative that was trying to be built to attack conservative republicans over gun control.

Remember the Youtube video narrative over Benghazi? Look how long the left establishment and government was able to hold that up and still no one has been held accountable for that lie. Yeah, like we can trust this government to tell us the truth.

I agree on both accounts, but the archive.org link doesn't mean that the profile was saved (or edited) 10 times.

I claim all sorts of falsehoods on my anonymous/public persona. Political affiliation is a favorite fib. I lie to pollsters too. “Microsoft” calls with urgent message, I say I have no computer, not even a laptop or tablet. Got asked to buy into home maintenance insurance plan, said I had no water heater, live in a shack, take cold showers. But your washing machine! Have none, take clothes to the river and pound them on a rock. At that point, caller figured out I was spoofing.

He posted it on a dating site. He was probably trying to make himself seem more appealing than he was.

Or maybe he was trying to get "hits" from decent conservative women, possibly with an ugly ulterior motive.

he was an admirer of the Irish REPUBLICAN Army.

And the IRA went commie way back in the early 1900s. Still love those IRA rebel songs, though; sing 'em at the pub.

It says

Party: Independent Party.

The “Independent Party” sometimes called the “American Independent Party” considers themselves a libertarian group. Pro abortion, anti-traditional marriage amendment, etc.

I agree on both accounts, but the archive.org link doesn't mean that the profile was saved (or edited) 10 times.

I do understand what you are saying but right at the top of the page it does state "saved 10 times on October 2, 2015" even though at the bottom it states that it is not necessarily updated. It kind of contradicts itself in a way but I understand what you are saying.

Just to see if there was any anomolies, I decided to crawl back about 2 dozen websites, national and smaller local ones. Of course the larger websites can be crawled often and multiple times in one day. The smaller sites were lucky to be crawled a few times a month, if not less. The smaller ones were mostly crawled once in the day that they were crawled but sometimes up to 3 times in one day but that wasn't very often for the smaller sites.

So I decided to crawl spiritualpassions.com, the site where the shooter's alleged profile is. It hasn't even been crawled in 2015 and only six times in 2014 and all were crawled once each of those days. Now, you take his profile there and it has only been crawled one day but 10 TIMES in that one day. Could be legit but I still don't trust them, Youtube itself went along with the Benghazi video narrative lie as well and still no one has been held accountable.

On the other hand, the “Independent Party of Oregon” is a lefty fair-share type group.
