I get up and walk around every hour when I am in the office. And walk as part of my commute.
Wow. I’m so amazed that getting off your ass and getting your blood flowing could be beneficial. Bet this was a gov funded study for something we all knew decades ago. Breaking news indeed.
My company has a paid massage service that comes around to our desks and massages our back and legs and arms 4 times a day
Will that be good enough?
I am getting a new desk today and an arm extension for my computer that will allow me to work standing up or sitting down. My PT tells me that standing up from time to time
will take pressure off my lower back. Several colleagues already use stand and sit.
I walk to other peoples’ offices when I need to ask them something instead of using email. I also walk at lunch time.
I get up and walk around because I get so damned bored.
Get up and walk around every hour. Never sit still for more than an hour. Use the stairs, not the elevator.
I watch Youtube videos of people jogging, biking, swimming ...
I’m exhausted by the end of the day.
People don't realize that just 30 seconds per exercise, done daily, is sufficient. The key is picking the correct exercises.
I chose the specific set of 20 exercises based on their therapeutic and preventative effects, targeting joint rejuvenation and muscle lengthening, functional strengthening.
I created a tool called a mobility bar to facilitate the performance of all 20 exercises in a compact space in a persons home.
Movement is essential. Maintaining our physical vitality is key to quality of life. Most people thing I am 15 to 20 years younger then my age, it is ok to grow old. It is not ok to grow weak.
