My Dad is going to die. The hospital say it could be anytime within the next 48 hours.
If you can, could you pray for him and for me.

Yes Lucy I am praying for your Dad, and for you, and for your family.
I had a serious bout with cancer and nearly died in ICU a few years ago - for me the experience was difficult yet was also a peaceful time even though there was a big fight going on for my life. The main thing is it was not frightening at all, the prospect of dying, and I also had a very reassuring personal spiritual experience. I felt very close to my family and cared so very much for them and was comforted that they were there and they love me very much.
My prayer is that you and your father and family enjoy the gratitude of having had so much time together to love and support each other. Time is a gift of grace for those who love one another.
You will always have your Dad to love whether he is present or not. My mom died in 1990 and I still love her deeply.
