This refers back to the
Alzheimers thread from 2011, and the protocol to keep oral spirochetes from growing in your mouth.
I will find out what our doctor's fall back position is, what other chlorine bleach, is as good or almost as good as Clorox used to be, to replace what is no longer available for this purpose.

In the meantime, Look for any back stocks of Clorox that is NOT CONCENTRATED and is the old formula. You cannot keep it forever because it does go bad, eventually weakening in concentration and then turning into salt water with age. But if you can find some, get it.
Other wise, the new stuff is good for laundry and other uses, and KEEP what you have on hand of the original Clorox for your oral hygiene.

Does the MSDS say what is in it? You can't hide stuff on an MSDS, according to what I understand.
MSDS = Material Safety Data Sheet.

Thanks for the update. Pretty amazing that companies can decide to not list ingredients in a chemical solution for home use.

Why can’t you make your own chlorine bleach?

I have been using bleach to disinfect water bottles. So now I will have to use something else?

I noticed awhile back at Walmart that all the caps were the same color of blue, and none of the jugs had the just plain old Clorox label. I wondered why they quit carrying regular old Clorox as some folks use it to kill bad things in their Drinking water...guess those days are gone forever.

Altho way more expensive, I see that one can buy bottles of Dakon’s solution—would that be ok to use?

Bleach tablets might work. I know I bought quite a few in case of emergency. One tab per gallon of water.

Chlorine Bleach. Ugh. - Instead, I order food grade hydrogen peroxide and mix it with distilled water until it’s a 3% solution. Use it for a spray in kitchen & bathroom. The drug
store stuff puts sores in my mouth, so I order food grade concentrate on ebay. - You have to be careful handling it when mixing. - I sploshed a teeny blop of the concentrate on my leg & it ate a hole in my shin. - Just say “NO” to chlorine bleach, though. To me, that stuff is horrible & stops up my nose.
