Remember the two ginger kittens that swam their way to a fishermens boat to be rescued? Weve got updates on the two kitties.
The two brave ginger kittens rescued by fishermen Jason Frost and Brandon Key are doing great at their forever home where they have been named Warrior and River.
Warrior and River are doing good they have been to the vet, have had all the shots they need and both have been fixed, their human wrote. (More on Facebook)
Awww, what beautiful kitties!
It was saying, “Meow . . gurgle . . meow . . gurgle . . meow . . sputter . . meow . . gurgle! MEOW . . GURGLE! . .” REAL LOUD!
I dunno. Looks like a weird set-up to me.
So cute!
Mew’re welcome.
It’s always the ORANGE kitties that need rescuing! :)
Thanks! I think it will go off well-he is already used to a pet carrier, and no longer goes down the road to the cabin unless she is there, puts out food and shouts for him.
I asked her to give me the cat once-told her what a nice, safe home he would have-but she refused-said he keeps the shed and garage rodent free when she isn’t there-so I’m just going to take him with me when I leave-he deserves a nice life.
They are-I’ve read that they were popular in the Roman empire-that is a long orange kittie reign...
The term "fixed" always cracks me up. What they mean is "permanently broken" (not that I object, kittie control is important), but the tendency to give things labels opposite their meaning has always fascinated me. (like "Affordable Care Act", etc)
I love marmalade cats!
Thank you for rescuing and kidnapping the kitty. You’re a good person! People who neglect their pets — well, there’s a special place in hell for ‘em.
Thanks for the pong!
The meowing? I don’t think he heard barking!
Thanks! I just hope she is not there when I move, so there will be no way for her to know where he went-I’ll likely be moving just a couple miles to the next road, but if no one sees me put him into a carrier, then it never happened...
I have always adopted shelter cats-kitties need and deserve good, loving homes.
Wet cats are so pitiful. It shows how skinny they really are. Poor babies! Surely you don’t think they were in on a staged situation to garner pity!
“I have a special fondness for ginger/orange tabby kitties-I always seem to have at least one.”
I have one, and he’s a terrorist kitten. So far, he’s figured out how to turn off the computer, destroy every lampshade in the den and stick his paw in the printer to stop pages from printing out.
Must be an orange kitty thing, because I got Titus when he was about 8 weeks old-he had obviously gotten out of some snowbird’s RV in the park where he was found. By the time I’d had him for a couple of months, he was sticking his paw in the printer to stop the pages from coming out-that was over 7 years-and three printers-ago and he still runs over and does that every time he hears the printer start-he also steps on the buttons on it, stopping it in mid-print...
