No it’s about someone deciding what someone else should or shouldn’t have, and being a food elitist is just so, oh I don’t know.........liberal. Have a really wonderful day as you travel through life independently.

From the looks of the coffee and Styrofoam plate, I would say this was breakfast - and no hamburgers were involved.
People who are disabled have good days and bad days. Maybe the hash cooked too long this day...who knows. Whatever the reason he couldn’t break up his own food, its nice to see somebody help him.
Anytime someone does something nice for somebody, there is always someone who comes around to complain about something in the scenario. Someone who can’t just appreciate a good deed but must point out a mistake or foible.
But if everyone was perfect there would never be a need or opportunity to do a good deed.
So nice job in pissing all over a good example of human nature. Much appreciated!

Hadn’t thought about that...I guess it could be quite a weapon. Has an assault weapon grip on it.

Someone does a wonderful, compassionate thing and some people STILL aren’t happy.

I was at a Charlie’s restaurant at Minneapolis airport. An old man with Parkinson’s was in front of me. As I was assisting him with his drink, the asst manager said to him that his suit as looked pretty big and that a young lady who worked there would carry his tray while he wrestled the suitcase.
It was great how she blamed luggage instead of his ovbious illness.
I sent a letter of commendation to their corporate office.
Maybe this McDonald’s holds memories for him.
It could be anything. Why do some see it as simply a guy in a wheelchair being stupid enough to go to a McDonalds?
Odd that some people see it that way. When I first posted this article, I thought someone might object to the employee leaving his work station to help the old man.
I didn't think anyone would object to the old man being there in the first place. Perhaps, on further thought, the objector in this instance will start to see this as an act of pure kindness, and nothing more.

I’m a small,83 year old woman and my independent days are long gone.

Well so is my mom, 83 years old that is. And while her completely independent days are gone, I shop for her and drive her where she needs to go, she lives in her own place and cooks her own food so I would say hat she sill has independence. At the same time I would hope that someone would help her out if she needed it.
