Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump refused to say whether he believes President Obama was born in the U.S. only a day after he defended himself for appearing to allow an audience member at a town hall last week get away with saying the president was born elsewhere and is a Muslim.
"I talk about jobs, I'm talking about the military -- I don't get into it,” Trump said on ABC's “This Week” Sunday. “They ask that question and I just want to talk about the things because it's of no longer interest to me. We're beyond that and it's just something I don't talk about.”

Donald did not back down. He knows Obama is probably a Muslim and not an American citizen due to being adopted as a child by Lolo Soetoro.
For the record, whether or not Obama was formally adopted by Lolo Soetoro has nothing to do with his claim to citizenship.
If he was born in the USA, he is an American citizen. According to American citizenship law, adoption of a minor by a foreign national does not change this fact.
Under these circumstances, the only way that Obama could've lost his American citizenship would be by formally rejecting it upon reaching his majority. There is no evidence that he has done so.

Well actually it appears likely that Obama’s mother gave up his citizenship when Lolo adopted Barry because in Indonesia you have to be an Indonesian citizen to get enrolled in school and I believe that they do not allow dual citizenship. At some point OStumbles would have had to go back to court to get his name changed back to Barack H. Obama which there is no record that he ever did. And he would have had to go in and repatriate himself at an embassy etc and become a naturalized citizen. Again no evidence he ever did that. Probably that is why all of his records are sealed because he attended Occidental College as an Indonesian foreign student.
So its also likely Barry Soetoro just started using the name Barack Obama again and legally his name is still Barry Soetoro. Hence the problem with the birth certificate. When you are adopted in HI they change the BC.
All of this would have definitely kept BHO from being elected President even if he was born in the USA which I believe he was.
You are misinformed. His mother CANNOT "give up his citizenship". According to US citizenship law, if you are born a citizen of the USA, you remain a citizen -- until and unless YOU, upon reaching your majority, formally reject said citizenship.
There is no situation or circumstance that can alter the above. The name controversy is irrelevant to this fact -- whether his legal name was Barry Soetoro or Barack H. Obama he remained a citizen of the USA if he did not formally reject said citizenship. There is no need for him to "re-apply".
I agree that it is likely Obama attended Occidental as a foreign student and that is why his records are sealed. However, that would not constitute proof that he wasn't a U.S. citizen -- it's irrelevant to the issue. Instead, it would be proof of fraud.
