WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama, in a historic first for the Pentagon, has chosen to nominate Eric Fanning to lead the Army, a move that would make him the first openly gay civilian
secretary of one of the military services.
Fanning’s nomination is the latest in a series of actions taken by the administration to advance the rights of gays and lesbians throughout the federal government.
The Obama administration has overhauled internal policies to provide benefits to same-sex partners, appointed gays and lesbians to the executive branch and the federal bench, and ended the 18-year ban
on gays serving openly in the military.

Romney was next to last in my choices, only ahead of Ron Paul. In Nov 2012 we had a choice. The president was going to be Obama or Romney. If you did not do all you could to stop Obama, well, you got what you deserve. Most of the rest of us didn’t deserve the man who is systematically destroying the country, its culture, its traditions, and its value. The more people there are like you, who could see no difference, will indeed cause us to fall. For a simple current one, do you think Romney would have the freak show Obama chose to meet the Pope? If you think so, we have no need to ever have another discussion.

I divide people into two categories: Those I wouldn't mind sharing a fox hole with and those I would not want to share a fox hole with. I avoid spending time around the latter folks. It would be pretty depressing if I were in the army and wouldn't be willing to share a fox hole with the supreme leader of the army.

I could see a difference. I didn’t like either. I am one voter. You can try to shame me all you want. I won’t do the same back. It is your vote. Use it how you choose.
Romney won in my state so your point that I made a difference is invalid. I wrote in Huckabee out of respect for my husband who had died only months early. He loved Huckabee. I knew Romney would take my state.
There is a lot of blame to go around. The strategy gods who forced a too early choice carry some blame, if you want to be collective about your blame. The same thing happened in 2008 with McCain. That crowd thinks true conservatives have nowhere else to go. So they cater to the middle voters. By their definition that means social liberals and big spending/program republicans. The left will always win if the choice is liberal vs liberal, regardless of some differences.
Conservatives do have a place to go. They can go/stay home. Or they can protest vote. If they are unwilling to establish that they in fact DO MATTER, then the party strategists will just keep walking all over them. Look at congress. Republicans have control but won’t fight for anything if they don’t have 60+ votes. The left wins with 40 or less votes. Sweet deal for them. Most of us are sick and tired of the fraudulent way we are treated and we are not going to take it anymore.
The election can’t get here fast enough...We have to get rid of this POS in the White House to preserve the country....

Well let me see now the Holy Bible teaches that homosexual behavior is a Sin worthy of death. Obama says it’s an accomplishment worthy of political office.The Holy Bible teaches Cursed is the man who puts his trust in man, who makes flesh his arm ,and is turned from God.”(Jeremiah 17:5) yet Obama has in both policy and in law done his best to turn the nation from God. The Holy bible reflects that Jesus ,that Rabbi from Nazareth called Christ by His Own chosen —themselves called Christians first at Antioch — Jesus said “the Tree is Known by it’s fruit.” and elsewhere He said “If you love Me keep My Commandments.” How could anyone claim to be Christian whose policies and actions suggest he is a Muslim/ or a Communist—or anything except a Christian?
