On the anniversary of the horrific 9/11 terror attacks against the World Trade Center and other targets, some are calling a deadly accident at the Grand Mosque in Mecca nothing less than divine payback.
A crane crashed into the building on Friday, leaving 65 dead and injuring another 154, according to initial estimates. The crane reportedly came down due to strong winds in the area. Heavy rains and even a lightning strike were also reported.
The mosque was even more crowded than usual because of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca by millions of Muslims this time of year, known as Hajj.
The mosque was built around the Kaaba shrine, where Abraham and his son Ishmael are believed to have built a house over 3,000 years ago. Devout Muslims are required to visit Mecca during Hajj at least once during their life and circle the Kaaba seven times.
Officially named the Masjid al-Haram, the Grand Mosques 88.2 acres make it the largest in the world. An expansion of the mosque to allow more than 1.6 million attendees began in 2011 and was scheduled to be completed in 2020, RT news reported.
Ahhhhhhh,,, got it. I was lost!
Uh, oh. Do they know there is a hole in the roof?
Owned by bin Laden Construction? Does anyone doubt the existence of God?
Don’t believe it was a payback. Sometimes God just sends His own special kind of EMail. It was a message.
I’m feeling so stupid right now. Of course it was divine payback. And it’s just the beginning.
The battle between heaven and it’s enemies (in the end days) is going to be nastier than any Isis squat could think of.
The average annual rainfall in Mecca is less than 2-3 inches per year. According to statistics, most of their rain usually occurs around November or December. But I do find it an incredible coincidence that all this happened on 9/11. Either it was a “warning” from God, or Karl Rove broke out his weather making machine again;-)
Right. It was not, as the Palis like to say, “proportional.”
That has nothing to do with my post.
Absolutely nothing.
I’m sorry, just posting to the thread,
not you in particular.
Bin Laden Construction Group? Really?!
“An expansion of the mosque to allow more than 1.6 million attendees began in 2011 and was scheduled to be completed in 2020, RT news reported.”
Ooops! Well, I guess that date’s going to get pushed back a bit.
Skymail ;-)
Ragheads and heavy construction equipment.
What could go wrong?
A nuke exploding at the height of their mookabooking haj about 2000 feet above their precious black rock,
Now that would be more appropriate devine pay back.
Sorry. I misinterpreted your post.
Cool.
Freep on.
t.
