We all know it’s only a matter of time.

Daniel Craig is hinting that “Spectre,” his fourth time playing James Bond, might be his last as 007.

In a new profile for the UK version of Esquire, the 47-year-old actor hinted at the possibility of not returning.

When pressed if he’d consider at least one more turn at Bond, Craig replied:

I have liked him as the best Bond since Sean Connery, but that’s a good point. H\
He’s humorless. Or humourless.
OTOH, as a govt. killer I s’pose we can’t expect Seinfeld.

It’s not the meat; it’s the motion.

I thought the series began to go downhill when they introduced too much humor into stories about a spy with an 007 license to kill.

There is nothing funny about the real game of intelligence and the practitioners in operations are not chosen for their ability to crack one-liners. A funny spy is an oxymoron.

The producers and Craig brought back the edgy Bond that the author, Ian Fleming, originally intended in his books.

I disagree. There is nothing remotely Fleming about the Craig-era movies.

Agree 100%, Bond was just a little more than a well-trained thug in the books. Craig portrays him well.
