We all know its only a matter of time.
Daniel Craig is hinting that Spectre, his fourth time playing James Bond, might be his last as 007.
In a new profile for the UK version of Esquire, the 47-year-old actor hinted at the possibility of not returning.
I really dont know. Honestly. Im not trying to be coy. At the moment I cant even conceive it, he said in the story.
When pressed if hed consider at least one more turn at Bond, Craig replied:

I wanna see him with a 47 year old woman.
A lot of women that age are still hot looking (at least I was told I was!)

I for one will be sorry to see Craig go. As a kid I read all of the Ian Fleming-authored books and Bond has always been a sophisticated thug in my mind. Whatever else Bond is, Fleming saw him as a State sanctioned killer. Craig’s portrayals are more thuggish than sophisticated, which to me, are more appropriate to Fleming’s original character.

You got that right. Reminded me of the “Hun” Churchill warned against.

Personally, I think Craig is the best Bond in the history of the franchise.
He's the most credibly tough...which one would expect in a Secret Agent.

JMHO but one of the best Bonds ever. Looked buff and tough enough to do the job. Sort of like Putin.

Craig has been good as Bond, but very dour. Humorless. No fun.

Have not seen any of his Bond movies. Can’t really comment other than his finger shouldn’t be on that trigger!

God, I wish I was in a position to say someone “pressed” a $15-20 million payday in me.

He is very entertaining - my question is why can they only squeeze a single Bond movie out every 5 years or so? Seriously, they managed to make the Harry Potter movies yearly, for 5 years - and those movies were loaded with CGI.

He is certainly tough enough, athletic enough but he has no class.

Having a black James bond makes as much sense as having a white character portraying a traditionally black one like the Shaft character.
I think that Hollowood has a vicious need to tear down traditions, especially ones that they deem "white", or ones they think espouse so called "white privilege".
