Donald Trump is taking a lot of heat from people who would like to see him support the dear lady, Kim Davis, in Kentucky. Those same people, if they think about it are asking him to commit political suicide. Trump is right, for now. Sorry. Everyone, and I include myself, is disappointed, but not surprised that 4 liberal justices and one who has always been sympathetic to the 'queer class' decided that homosexuals are a minority and deserve the protection of law and equal rights. They have also ruled that the crucial parts of the 'Defense of Marriage Act' are unconstitutional. Deal with it like adults fellas. The lady in Kentucky has every right to 'civil disobedience', if that's what it is. Others say that she is the only one actually obeying the law. In other words there is no Kentucky Statute authorizing her to give a license to a homosexual couple. She may be right on that, but it will be a long slog through the courts to prove it, by which time the election will be decided. Civil disobedience on a massive scale however would not reverse the legal process. The only way that marriage will ever be legally defined as 'between a man and a woman' in the country again would be through an amendment to the constitution, which is not going to happen when you consider the demographics, the support for and promotion of LGBT in the media and educational system, and the Federal bureaucracy. Or, perhaps, a few states could try seceding again. Donald is smart. He wants to get elected. We can't be dumb enough to ask him to die for what is, unfortunately, a lost cause. The problem here is that absolute moral judgements, not backed by the authority of divinity are just strong opinions. And, in the court of public opinion and in the court of law the opinion that gays should be denied marriage benefits has lost; and we no longer have a majority of people in this country who are committed to the absolute authority of the God revealed in the Bible. If you want to turn this country around in a moral sense... get off of Trump and get on your knees. In the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley is a Bible that he treasured and got from his mother. In it's glass case the book is opened and verses are underlined... they read... "...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chron 7:14
Sorry about the formatting, no paragraphs. First ‘vanity’ post. Someone will probably say it should be my last. Beat you to it..
And Rosa Parks was shunned at first...
Trump says we MUST OBEY our lord and masters in black robes.
Bow down to the master and kiss his ring.
Would agree there are bigger fish to fry but as the old saying goes: It’s hard to remember your job is to drain the swamp when you’re up to your @ss in alligators.
The hell he is right.
It’s not about Trump. It’s about the Constitution and religious freedom. He doesn’t have a clue about either one.
Cruz or lose, baby.
Right! Choose your battles. This one’s not worth it.
Guess it’s too much to expect people who want to be our leaders to actually lead, huh?
Only reading the headline because of lack of paragraphs but Trump has said Davis should issue the marriage licenses. Cruz said he stands with Davis.
I stand with Cruz.
Glad you’re still posting! Finally decided to come out of your shell?
I didn’t read the unformatted paragraph but I agree with the title.
We are being invaded from the south. All hands to the battlements.
Let’s be patient and hear what Trump’s lawyers say about the situation. At this point, can’t we all agree that it’s disgusting that this woman was taken away in shackles and jailed for adherence to her Christian beliefs?
Freedom of religion is not worth it???
Then nothing i “worth it”.
I wish it was possible to “like” a FR post.
A bit-o-help?...Semper Fi.

Those who are against Trump for supporting the rule of law should all stop paying their taxes. Their taxes are still going to fund Planned Parenthood. To do otherwise would be hypocritical.
There are a lot of issues in this affair and addressing some of them would not need the court folly to be reversed immediately (as satisfying as that would be).
This definitely ain’t politics as usual. Sometimes evil needs to be forced to display itself as evil before it can truly be addressed — otherwise it is too easy to pass over and ignore.
The hell it won't. It worked for the homos. Riots, lawsuits, intimidation and official malfeasance on a grand scale is what brought them from being a criminal class to a protected class.
Every Christian in America - and that used to be just about everyone - should be on the streets demanding the take down of the legal system if this is what it produces.
It's not their country. It's OURS.
Bow down to the master and kiss his ring.
And Cruz telling us to bow down to our globalist masters? Then hoping in the sack with Paul Amnesty Ryan while lying to us about how he was enabling Obamatrade and other secret Obama “trade” deals. How do you feel about that?
Thanks, brother!
