"should arrive on the market by 2017 or 2018" ...not if democrats can outlaw combustion engines in time to kill our auto industry.

Wish I still had my 97 Cherokee and 93 wrangler. A jeep pu on a 1500 frame would have been cool

Taking design cues from a Nissan Cube is not a great idea.

Nice little turbo diesel in it and they’ll have something.

You made me google Nissan Cube...and you’re right!

In other news, the Chinese claim to have a killer missile that can travel ten times the speed of sound. Nothing can stop it.

Nice little turbo diesel in it and theyll have something. It probably will have BUT not for Americans. It makes me ill that some of the efficient diesels are not available to us.

I'm a CJ guy, so I never liked the flat hoods anyway.

Yep, had one with a Ford Flathead V-8 in it.
They made a bunch of tranny adapters for them.

It’s a day late and a dollar short.
I would have bought one prior to the GM bailout. I know Chrysler didn’t get bailed out, but bought by Fiat.
After owing a Toyota FJ cruiser, I’ll never go back to one of the “big three”.

The one on the top is. I actually have an 85 Scrambler (that’s not it). The one on the bottom was a big workhorse of a truck.
