I used to like the Karen Carpenter version.

Outstanding! I love inventive new takes on old standards.
Recently some friends of mine played a blurgrass rendition of The Thrill is Gone (B.B. King) with banjo and fiddles.
This reminded me of that, and like that, is well done, sir!
