I’ve heard of putting a tiger in your tank....but not a kitten in your tank.

This has to be a community outreach feel-good setup.
What idiotic moron couldn’t get a kitten out of an engine compartment.
We’re failing as a society.

Back in the day, cars had a wider fan belt. So, my uncle goes to start his car, not realizing that the cat had gone to sleep on his fan belt for a nice warm nap. No more kitty. What a mess.

I'm glad people find a smile in this......but I'm donating extra money every paycheck to cover my taxes and property tax is due in 2 months....
I'd rather a volunteer group of do gooders would go around and save cats...I'd rather the $75/hr firemen would just fight fires....

I think it’s part of a game the LEO’s and first responders play where they deploy as often as possible so they can then cite so many responses to justify next year’s budget increase.

30 years ago I rescued (the REAL definition, not the mere adopting/buying thing) - and kept - a kitten from a Cadillac engine and didn’t get no news story....
Also rescued (OK, well it was really my aunt and mom though I was so afraid for that cat) and kept another kitten from a nutjob child; no fanfare....
