700 worshipers of Moloch and Satan are on the faculty.
“that Wisconsin is no place to do business.”
What it’s all about. Money for killing babies.
And now we know the price of these 700 souls!
(More like GHOULS!)
Its cute how they toss around the phrase “ethical considerations” of other people.
“....would cost billions and risk untold numbers of lives...”
Horse Puckey!
adult stem cells have shown real SUCCESS
“fetal” cells...not so darned much.
these people cant even tell a “decent” lie
I now know why I will never teach at UW-Madison.
The California legislature raised approx. 3 billion dollars for stem cell research a few years ago, an in your face George Bush and your opposition to fetal stem cell research reaction. As far as I know, so far it’s been a bust.
“Research done with cell lines derived from fetal tissue has benefited millions in the form of vaccines and treatments for diseases such as cancer, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, heart disease, and viral and bacterial infections, the letter says.”
So what? This is like saying that money obtained through robbing a bank was used to feed the poor. Who do they think they are, Robin Hood?
Butchering babies and selling their bodies for profit sounds O.K. to me....what is the problem.......sigh
The petition is a lie.
There is no need to use fetal tissue in the research.
Pretending otherwise only seeks to justify abortion.
Research done with cell lines derived from fetal tissue has benefited millions in the form of vaccines and treatments for diseases such as cancer, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, heart disease, and viral and bacterial infections, the letter says.
First, I dont believe it. I Have a brain injury and doctors say NOTHING new on the horizon for foreseeable future. Wouldn’t there have been great advances for a our military brain injured if fetal cells were so helpful?
Second, who the heck am I to want to be cured as a result of the death of another human being?!?!!?
Not that it matters, because abortion is just wrong, but how many lives would have to be saved to offset the number of abortions done worldwide since 1970?
I’d rather be stuck with a degenerative disease but keep my dignity and be able to face God.
That being said, what about placenta cells and and the staggeringly strong computers we have today? Can’t they achieve the same goal?
There is no excuse for anyone using babies heads, when there are perfectly good rabbits out there just waiting to be whacked.
I will die from the flu before I ever get a shot.
The abortion clinics say, no tissue transfers of any kind are taking place in Wisconsin, it being a federal crime to profit from such transfers)”.
These intellectuals shouldn’t have a problem with a similar state law also making it illegal since the baby butchers say they aren’t doing it anyway—selling the meat.
So it’s all academic.
Right?
Poor ghouls can’t use murdered baby bodies. How sad. Disgusting.
700 UW professors sign letter opposing halt to the use of fetal tissue in research. Of course their reasoning is faulty. Most, of not all, advances from stem cells have come from the use of adult stem cells. Nothing has developed from fetal stem cells. And, of course, there is an unlimited supply of umbilical cord stem cells available. Now we know the immorality of those teaching our kids in Madison.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Which animal species tears its young apart to make ‘medicines’?
“The cell lines derived from fetal tissue are commonly used for research in laboratories worldwide,” the letter says.”
I call bull squeeze on this claim. I don’t believe it for a millisecond. However, let’s accept the premise...
OK, now we just see the same argument made by the scientists in 1930’s Germany. I wonder how it feels for these UofW signatories to be pushing the National Socialist agenda from a dark history.
