I wish I had space and time for meditation and Bible study and work on my music. I’m guessing Ms. Morissette doesn’t have nine children at home.
Whatever, I hope it works out for her.

Too bad all that meditation and stuff doesn’t improve her singing.
At a previous place of employment, people thought it was funny that I would drop whatever I was doing to turn off the radio if one of her songs came on.

Step Inside Alanis Morissettes Home Meditation Room: Its Where I Go to Tune In to Emotions
You're not officially an 'artist' unless you let the world know how odd and weird and unusual and irregular you are.
If a conservative were to have said such 'nutty' things, he/she would be thought as, out of his/her mind and unfit as a human being, but, she's a liberal, so, she's just 'normal' and a true artist.

Ironic, I suppose, that her biggest hit single was about being in an angry, jealous rage, feeling abused, humiliated and vengeful. And when she found peace and was centered, the quality of her music evaporated.
Better for her personally, I suppose.

Is she the singer who started the craze, which is still going on, of the thin, reedy, female voice, always sounding pathetically sad.

Perhaps the Stones will send her a Little Yellow Pill or three...
