I was surprised, as normally public places aren’t named after someone until they are deceased. Yeah, that has worked out not so well in the past.

Well, sure, they can, but it’s a road that is like, and in some places actually is, US1 or A1A, that runs pretty much up and down the east coast of Florida. It has different names in various locations. Just nonsense to me. Riviera Beach is not the nicest of areas. I was bused 30 minutes to West Riviera Beach elementary school when I was a kid. That was interesting times.

Well, streets named for King tend to be in bad neighborhoods. So it’s good to avoid such places. I have a feeling anything named after Obama will tend to be in a rough area.
Another thread recently talked of a shooting at Malcolm X Park in Boston. There too, I have feeling that park is in a bad part of town.
