Police and prosecutors are begging people to fork over information.

In Sunday’s news conference, law enforcement said almost no one is saying they saw anything despite there being more than 50 people at the crime scene.

They mentioned the street codes ("no snitching") as a reason why no one is talking. If no one talks the crime goes unsolved and the victims do not get justice. And the perpetrator goes free to do it again. And almost certainly the victims will be black next time.

The story I heard in Akansas was that the crowd went to the hospital and attacked the police and EMTs and interfered with the treatment of the wounded.
