Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura suggested Tuesday that he’d be glad to be Donald Trump’s running mate.

“Do you think Donald would ever think of asking me?” Ventura said during an interview on his “Off the Grid” show with former Trump adviser Roger Stone .

Ventura said he’d support Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.

“I shocked my staff today,” Ventura said. “I came in and said, ‘You know what, as far as the Republicans are concerned, I hope Trump wins.’”

Comparing Donald Trump to Teddy Kennedy is absurd

Teddy is 100% inheritance from a bootlegger(don’t mind bootleggers much) but he’s never worked a day beyond politics

And he killed a woman

Trump on the other hand entered his fathers business as a young man and mostly with the Grand Central Hyatt project scored big and multiplied the original family fortune from 50/150 million to half a billion and then continued from there

He’s fathered once and almost completely gone broke once on Atlantic City like many others but he doubled down and went to the mattresses with the creditors and recovered handsomely

He manages 22,000 employees and two ex wives and all his kids appear fairly well adjusted and competent with good work ethic

He cash flows from 1-2 million dollars a day on assets of 3-11 billion based on who’s counting all started from his daddy’s original middle income condo biz

Pretty much 60-220 times increase from when he took over 30 years ago

To call such a man with that endurance and smarts and toughness an idiot says more about the name caller than The Trump

America has had plenty of Trust Fund Kids, and a lot of them have done nothing more than cash checks, or squander what they inherited. Look at the Rockefeller and Kennedy brood.

It’s a rare individual that has inherited a lot of money and has worked as hard as Trump to make it grow. Bill Gates is one the few that comes to mind.

I thought Mitt should have campaign clothes pins instead of buttons. You know, so you could clamp it on your nose when you voted for him.

Trump did inherit, but as WarDaddy says, it was small stakes compared to the $3-$11 billion net worth today.

What many don’t know, is that around the 1989 time frame, Trumps was in dire straights. His net worth was in negative territory by about $150 million.

Since that time, he created his wealth to what it is today.

Anotherwords, his current wealth has nothing to do with his dad.

Donald Trump pulled himself up and made a go of it.

That’s what the best men do. Many a very rich man losses it all only to succeed again.

Trump is an amazing success story.

What he does isn’t easy. You have to be very smart and on your toes.

There are two things to do if your company goes south.

1. Let it die. Let all your employees go. Leave the site vacant. Allow the immediate surroundings to decay and become somewhat of a ghost town. You make nothing. Creditors get next to nothing. Suppliers lose a customer going forward. Employees no longer have work. The city, county, state, and federal government lose their tax base.

2. Declare bankruptcy as part of the reorganization process. Institute a new business plan. Streamline. Keep most of your employees. Keep your suppliers. The area around your physical plant remains vibrant. Your employees continue to stimulate the local economy with their earnings. The city, county, state, and federal government keep a functioning tax base.

I don’t know the particulars of these properties (businesses). Trump may have taken them over in terrible shape. That may not be true, but there is the possibility that some of these were not exactly his doing too. He may have had not choice due to someone elses mistakes, or perhaps they were all due to his team’s mistakes.

Bankrupcy is a legal business tool.

Donald Trump, on the left in that picture, looks like someone quite familiar but I just can’t place who it might be at the moment. It’s not a TV or movie celebrity but perhaps a notable figure in sports. Any help out there sportsfans?

http://www.ora.tv/offthegrid/article/2015/3/11/jesse-ventura-hillary-mails-care-

Jesse Ventura: I'm down here off the grid. It’s 85 and sunny, and the fact is, I could care less what are in Hillary Clinton’s emails!

But since that’s the big topic of the week - and it’s supposed to be a “hot topic” - let’s discuss Hillary’s emails. Do they think that this was done because she was hiding something about Benghazi?

Well, for all the Republicans out there (and I’m not a Democrat, I’m an Independent), I’ll make a trade with you: if you’ll investigate Hillary’s emails to dig up evidence on Benghazi, how about an equal investigation into the trumped-up Iraq War?Remember, the one George Bush and Dick Cheney induced Colin Powell to go along with? And blatantly lied to everybody in the USA about WMDs and ties to al-Qaeda? And what about the torture? To which Dick Cheney says, “Phooey.” Phooey to torture, to war crime?

I’ll tell you what: I’m more interested in bringing back the torture issue to the front burner than I am ever of Hillary Clinton’s emails. Let’s do something that really affects the United States. If they think there’s Benghazi secrets in there, then let’s do the same type of investigation into the trumped-up Iraq War. Because that sure has had a much bigger impact on the world than Benghazi did.

----

This dumb hick doesn't realize that Hillary Clinton took credit for the war crime torture, abuse, and murder of a POW named Momar Gadaffi. Want to talk about a REAL ginned up war, Jesse?

Jesse Ventura has a staff? For what?

He was the first transgendered Governor. He kept his staff like Bruce Jenner did.

As I said, being rich does not equate to being smart. Think Ross Perot and you will finally get the picture.
