Here are the country’s most and least racially diverse religious groups

The nation’s population is growing more racially and ethnically diverse – and so are many of its religious groups, both at the congregational level and among broader Christian traditions. But a new analysis of data from the 2014 Religious Landscape Study also finds that these levels of diversity vary widely within U.S. religious groups.

We looked at 29 groups – including Protestant denominations, other religious groups and three subsets of people who are religiously unaffiliated – based on a methodology used in our 2014 Pew Research Center report on global religious diversity. This analysis includes five racial and ethnic groups: Hispanics, as well as non-Hispanic whites, blacks, Asians and an umbrella category of other races and mixed-race Americans.

This is rather deceptive. I’m surprised how well these reflect expectations world-wide. The reason Moslems are so “diverse” is because we let all these types in, from various areas long conquered and ruled by ruthless Moslem law. It’s more by the sword than anything else. Except the fool whites who migrated into it by stupid choice.

I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed but these stats aren’t proportionate with the population at large. Example: the Adventists get a high diversity rating but with a disproportionate amount of whites to blacks. Proportion of white to black is about 68% white to 13% black in the general population. Diversity exists when it correlates with percentages found in the general population.
