Just got home from the local Ted Cruz rally. The event was sold out and I lost count of how many standing ovations there were.
We had really good seats close to the front just right of center stage.
Cruz was on message and I must say he is even more impressive in person than on T.V.
I was interviewed by the local T.V. station WBBJ T.V. I am waiting on the 10 o'clock news. I'm sure there were many people interviewed, so I don't know if I will actually be on the newscast, but the whole evening was a wonderful experience, and we met a lot of great people.
I was asked how long I had been a Ted Cruz supported and I said ever since his announcement speech. I said I loved his passion and his vision and his uncompromised speaking the Truth without fear,
I will go to their website and see if the clip is online.
Excellent statement.
What were you asked? How did you respond?
FWIW...
Very happy to see you posting a positive commentary. Thanks for the run down of the event.
Cruz has a political compass with right settings. He's the only candidate who does. Limited government is a principle with him, expressed in his desire to get ride of the Dept. of Education and Common Core. He's the only candidate who expresses that limited government philosophy. The ONLY one.
The problem, as usual, is that the political compass of what should be his natural base, leaves a lot to be desired. To be polite about it. And they aren’t looking like they intend to do anything but fawn over another liberal.
See President Sarah Palin about any questions on the matter...
Which reinforces my point about most conservatives being anything but.
They are good people, but if she is a member of the CFR there is nothing wrong to question that. I have always believed many members of the CFR are there because they can network. As for Goldman Sachs or any other banks, there are good people and patriots who work for them but does not mean anything sinister.
How neat!
Looks like a nice affair, the men have on suitcoats, I see tablecloths and centerpieces ....
What a great night to be a part of, ConservativeJoy, our own Cruz Spokeswoman :
That is the Conservative message that RINO's avoid like the plague.
Only a true conservative would be bold enough to encourage that
course of action.
As a Texan, I can tell you, Cruz is the real deal!!!
Hit piece??
What in the name of God is he talking about ...
(Usually a pretty reliable source for deep info, but Good Lord!)
Hey CJ, thanks for sharing. Perhaps you can answer a question about Cruz that doesn’t appear available on the internet.
How tall is he? I thought 5-11. But, there was a thread on the heights of the candidates, and one poster from Texas said he met Sen. Cruz, and he said Cruz was “below average height”.
What was your impression?
No haven’t got to that point. As for now, it is Trump/Cruz 2016 or Cruz/Trump 2016.
That is what I’m thinking. Just a few months he was happy for Ted Cruz, however he is supporting Donald Trump. Not sure what the heck is going on with him. Unless his son wrote that, who knows.
Ted is exceptional. He’s so smart and good-natured that people naturally trust and respect him.
Here’s a question for you:
Did you meet or hear attendees that went in skeptical and came out 100% onboard the Cruz train? Because that happens a lot. What was your experience?
It’s a shame then that Tenn does not send conservatives to Congress.
The folks at the table with us had two people who had not made up their minds. As his speech began, they were on their feet with the standing ovations and were still in line waiting to shake his hand when we left. That looked pretty promising.
People were still crowded around him in a circle 10 people deep. I doubt anybody left there not supporting him. He is just that good in person.
ahahahaha Indeedy!
