Donald Trump stood by the controversial comments he made about Fox News host Megyn Kelly and slammed Erik Erickson for disinviting him to a RedState event in a statement Saturday morning.
Erickson, RedState’s editor, rescinded the group’s offer to Trump to speak at the gathering after he insulted Kelly after Thursday’s GOP debate. Instead, he invited Kelly herself.
“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her — wherever,” Trump told CNN Friday.
In his own statement, Trump clarified that statement, claiming that the “whatever” was actually referring to her nose.
“Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad — she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard,” the statement read. “Mr. Trump said ‘blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever’ meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else.”
“By the way, the guy (Erick Erickson) who made the decision about RedState called Supreme Court Justice David Souter a ‘goat [expletive] child molester’ and First Lady Michelle Obama a ‘Marxist Harpy.’ He was forced to make a humbling apology.”
“Also, not only is Erick a total loser, he has a history of supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns so it is an honor to be uninvited from his event,” the statement continued. “Mr. Trump is an outsider and does not fit his agenda.”
Trump has only clarified his comment on Kelly — not apologized.
Erickson also came under fire in 2013 when he and fellow Fox News pundit Lou Dobbs appeared on Kelly’s show to defend comments they made in regards to a study that claimed that more women were becoming the breadwinners of the family.
“When you look at biology, look at the natural world, the roles of a male and a female in society, and other animals, the male typically is the dominant role. The female, it’s not antithesis, or it’s not competing, it’s a complementary role,” Erickson said then. “We as people in a smart society have lost the ability to have complementary relationships in nuclear families, and it’s tearing us apart.”

Exactly, its okay for him to stand up for himself, but, this constant tweeting and name calling ad nauseam is getting on my nerves. I want to hear what his plans are for America - and how can you make America great again when he is constantly involved in a skirmish with someone and name calling? This isn’t a good role model for the younger people either.
As Trump has said, this much press coverage would cost anyone else millions...but for Trump, it’s free.
He chooses some pretty unsavory characters, hoping to knock of establishment types who aren't our friends but the ones chosen by Erickson merely want to grab a piece of the power themselves, i.e. some of the vaunted TEA Party candidates who won, then went on to sell "us" out quicker than the others!

Just got his book “Time To Get Tough”. This is his fifth book that I’ve read and this one was revised when he decided to run for President. It has detailed policy positions. I’m a big fan of his tax plan and, of course his stance immigration issues.
That said, I am still a Cruz supporter. I just hope they can get together for the good of the country.
I’m glad he struck back at Ericson - who ruins Rush’s show every time Rush goes on vacation.
I can’t say about the blood, but I do know Erickson is talking out of his a$$.

Now on to how to have ‘debates with the candidates’ forunm....
(1) DON'T have any news people asking the questions...
(2) DON'T have more than 4 candidates at one time...(this gives the public voters more time with the candidates to hear their opinions (noticed I said ‘candidates opinions’)...
(3) DON'T attack anyone for anything, simply ask the question, give the candidate your asking the question to at least 3 minutes to answer....(that way we can tell by their answer what we need to know)
(4) Have a good time, laugh, be serious, enjoy and relax, the candidates are not the POTUS YET....
