Glad you had a great time at Baker’s Creek. It is hotter here this week than last, and supposed to be triple digits next week.
I have new stuff under shadecloth, and my spring garden stuff is about done for...except for the cucuzza. The heat doesn’t phase them.
I think everyone in TX is just hoping August will hurry up and be over. I sure am.

It is 107 here today. It is going to stay in that range, 105-107, for the next number of days. I stay in the house. Haven’t had rain in a long time.

Here, August is our hibernation month. FWIW August 11 is the peak of our heat on average.

Boy, I heard that! That’s how most of our August weather is usually. This is about the coolest August I can remember.
