Is the public fascination with Caitlyn Jenner wearing off?
Ratings for E!s groundbreaking reality series I Am Cait plummeted for the shows second episode.
Sundays hour had only 1.3 million viewers, a drop of more than 50% from the shows premiere.
I Am Cait premiered somewhat modestly too, especially considering the usual Kardashian clan drawing power on E! and the amount of media buzz surrounding Jenner in recent months. The series debut had 2.7 million viewers, then grew to 3.9 million with DVR playback. While time-shifted viewing is important, a big change in same-night viewership like what happened on Sunday still tends to give a strong signal of whether interest in a show is rising or falling.
I think you mean a “conservative” (lol)
What a lucky break for Mr. Caitlyn. And Mr. Ed will cast his Nielsen vote as many times as necessary to assure that this quality programming continues.
It’s nice to know America has not totally lost its mind.
loses half its audience, lemme guess, the male half of the viewers.
Yes it is.
I highly doubt we MISSED anything. /s
Pretty soon Bruce will realize that yes he was born a man and will be glad he kept his package. They will rename the show “I am Cecil” Bruce will walk around in a lion’s costume and the show will be a hit
Isn’t ther a competing show on ABC “Family” that is doing the same thing except with 2 families?
I saw the previews before a movie a watched not long ago. They blatantly used the natural love of parent of the queers children as a sympathy ploy of why it’s “good” and “OK”. gag me.
He had a TV show?
The Bearded Lady gets few repeat viewers. The freak factor has a short shelf-life.
A 65 year-old transmission!? Sounds pretty miraculous to me! Where can I watch this show? Is it on channel 4?
I don’t think there really was as much interest as the media thought, sure for a few seconds people wanted to see the trainwreck, but now it’s old news.
He could be the new superhero for Marvel. The Chameleon - it can go into any bathroom to fight crime...
He has to up the ante. Maybe run a race in high heels while carrying a Confederate flag through Baltimore.
I guess the general reaction thus far to ‘I AM CAIT”, is I AM BORED!”
Or..."No, you're Bruce!"
Do Courage Awards count for nothing these days???
A good idea for a tv show would be called “What the Hell Was I Thinking?”
This show can be saved the same way Olympic volley ball was saved.
I saw that on the news. I had to laugh that this was the most shocking thing to her!
