Republican presidential hopeful businessman Donald Trump speaks to the media after a rally on July 25 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. During his last visit to the state, Trump sparked controversy when he said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a former prisoner of war, was not a war hero.

-—The hospitals and education was a disaster.
I know that when the Donald is speaking people wont notice how ungrammatical and incomprehensible this is. But really? The hospitals was a disaster?
What in the world is the Donald even talking about here? The VA hospital problems that are Obamas problem? Hes just throwing underwear against the wall to see what sticks.
You think after the Baby Body Parts scandal this wont be a national issue looking for this kind of leadership?

You think with the EPA preparing to crush us with Power Plant regulations this wont appeal nationally?
Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker is preparing to sue the Obama administration over pending regulations limiting carbon dioxide emissions from new and existing power plants. Walker said these rules would hit his state hard, causing job losses and energy-price increases.

He has been systematically remaking the DNR ever since into a business-friendly entity ...as stated negatively by the environazis

and given the economic disaster that Obama has been you think this wont sell nationwide?
The state’s deficit according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) has decreased by $1.6 billion in the first three fiscal years of Gov. Scott Walker’s first term.
In fact the Wisconsin economy has grown at about half the rate as the national economy. Yes, That Bad.
Walker did away with the State Commerce Dept. and created the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. Since its founding, the WEDC has lost 2 jobs for every one it created , most of them to outsourcing overseas. Many of the companies receiving money were owned by Walker donors.
Many of the companies were not eligible to receive money, but money was issued without review. Some of these companies took the money and then went out of business.
Walker Chaired the WEDC until the legislature removed him from that position in late May.
The current investigation seems to be centered around whether this was “Pay to Play”.
Regardless, hundreds of millions of dollars were wasted and Walker, who promised 250,000 jobs in his first term ended up well over 100,000 jobs short of that.
All of the data says Trump is spot on. Pew Research, Forbes, Bloomberg, just to name a few have supported the dismal record of jobs and the economy in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is losing its Middle Class at a faster rate than any other state. Under Walker they are 44th in private sector jobs growth, 40th in salaries, and 50th in new business start ups. Wisconsin’s economy is growing at about half the rate the national economy is growing, which is really lousy.
Trump is right about the huge sums of money being borrowed by the state. The $ 517 million budget surplus that Walker talks about doesn’t exist. That goes away when you figure in just one of the loans the state recently took out for $800 million.
Trump has the best researchers money can hire. He doesn’t speak without the facts and Finance is Trump’s World.
I never said Scott Walker was a bum. I know he’s done some good in his state.
I just don’t think he’s made the sort of waves that capture nationwide public attention and admiration, to the extent that would support a successful run for president.
I also think the guy is GOP-e through and through, based on all sorts of indicators and anecdotal evidence.
Those are my opinions and conclusions about Scott Walker.
Conservative joy is posting proven mis-information about the Wisconsin economy. I have called her on it repeatedly and she does not have the strength of character to admit the truth.
——Wisconsins UNEMPLOYMENT is 4.6 PERCENT. That is third best in the midwest and in the top 20 in the country.
——Wisconsins labor participation rate is 5 percent above the national average. It is substantially unchanged during Walkers governorship because Wisconsin (at 4.6 unemployment) nearly at full employment.
——Wisconsin was one of 16 states with a below-average unemployment rate in May and above-average income growth in 2014 using per-capita disposable income, according to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
-—The number of new business entities formed in Wisconsin in the first six months of 2015 grew by 3.4% percent compared to same period in 2014. As of June 30, 2015, new business filings totaled 21,379, compared to 20,675 in the same period in 2014.

-— hundreds of millions of dollars were wasted
This is the kind of over-the-top lie that discredits your honesty and mental fitness.
‘Hundreds of millions’ exceeds YEARS of WEDC operational budget (spending).
In fiscal year (FY) 2011-12, WEDC spent an estimated $80.1 million. It administered 30 economic development programs that provided grants, loans, tax credits, and other assistance to businesses, local governments, and other organizations.

Conservativejoy loves to post lefty information about Walker and therefore make it sound disturbingly bad. WEDC was an attempt to innovate which has the same kind of record that all the other states economic development efforts have.
-——Trump is right about the huge sums of money being borrowed by the state. The $ 517 million budget surplus that Walker talks about doesnt exist. That goes away when you figure in just one of the loans the state recently took out for $800 million.-——
Whacky dishonest lies. If Trump wants to win lying, why dont we just elect Hillary.
Not only that, since Walker took office, income taxes have been cut by $750 million. Property taxes were cut more than $800 million since 2011. In fact, with the signing of this budget, Wisconsin will have its fifth and sixth straight year of substantial property tax relief.
When Walker said he was going to try and cut the tax burden every year he was in office, he truly meant it. What a welcome reversal to the trend of steady income and property tax increases from the past administration.
Gov. Walker also made a good faith effort to get Wisconsin’s borrowing under control, and the legislature even improved upon his plan. They brought bonding down 67 percent compared to the 2013-15 budget, a level we have not seen around here in decades.

One of the major bond rating agencies upgraded the state of Wisconsin on Thursday...
The ratings agency Moody’s revised Wisconsin’s outlook from stable to positive. Moody’s cited Wisconsin’s well-funded pension system, as well as recent steps taken to reduce the state’s budget deficit measured by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
http://www.wpr.org/moodys-upgrades-wisconsins-bond-rating
Gov. Scott Walker told an audience of California conservatives that “Our pension system is the only one in the country thats 100% funded.
You need to check the last Audit that was done, the one that has been turned over to the District Attorney. Since WEDC was created, they have distributed hundreds of millions of dollars. The reason that doesn’t show up in your figure is, these were distributed as loans, only they were not paid back, so it’s a loss for taxpayers.
If you think Trump is going to be able to cow congressmen like he does his hired flunkies, you're sadly mistaken.
Wisconsin was one of the first states in the union to pave its secondary roads. Reason being it was easier for the dairy industry to get their goods to market on paved roads. Even adjoining states like Minnesota and Iowa don’t have all their secondary roads paved.
Reagan never met a payroll either. He sure was a lousy president. /s
Are you sure it isnt billions and billions and billions? You could post a link that audit directly like I did to the previous audit.
Ok, since you are a challenged person. Here it is. http://legis.wisconsin.gov/lab/reports/15-3full.pdf Once again you have unthinkingly posted lefty misinformation on a conservative site.
In fiscal year (FY) 2013-14, WEDC administered
29 economic development programs through which it provided $88.7 million in tax credits to businesses and individuals, authorized local governments to issue $28.4 million in bonds, and awarded $19.4 million in loans and $17.2 million in grants to businesses, local governments, and other organizations.
This time its not a lie, but a delusional blathering repeat of the same kind of lefty attacks we get everyday in Wisconsin.
All true, and Donald could have easily become a worthless trust fund baby who never amounted to a hill of beans in life. Just like so many who were 'born with a silver spoon in their mouths'.
But he didn't. Instead, he used his brains, his talent, his education, and his inheritance, to build a financial empire his fathers would be proud of.
The man's an American success, as measured by every metric we conservatives hold dear. You come off like an ignorant liberal when you attack him for coming from a wealthy family.
Total nonsense...He will be the Pubbie candidate....most qualified, least unqualified.....
Hey, don’t diss my personal conspiracy theory! ;-)
Trump being in the race has drawn all the attention from Cruz and others. Jeb can just sit back and be content to be #2 until Trump’s campaign flames out. By that time the others will be short on media attention and primary votes. How many people who were going to vote for a candidate other than Bush is now planning on voting for Trump?
Sounds good to me.
