Did they find any rocks? Every time I dig, I find rocks. Big ones.

I’m not sure they even found any groundwater yet. It sounds like they are measuring CO2 levels at the surface or in the sand? And then explaining the results by “there must be a vast amount of water below.”
The photo of those guys digging - if groundwater was so shallow they could get to it by digging - the place wouldn’t be a desert.
“They” also found an extinct one mile high layer of ice here in Montana (well a few hundreds miles north, but still).
Said it came from Canada, better than those pooping geese.
