Trump is on the move, no doubt about it. So what's your take on the man? If you're in the mood, answer the question posed in post #1, along with your reasoning.
1. Trump says what he means, and means what he says. He could be the last best hope for America.
2. Trump is all about the publicity. While he is helping to bring attention to important issues, he's not in it for the long haul. When the publicity fades, he will lose interest and drop out.
3. Trump is a stalking horse for Hillary and the rest of the Democrats. His real goal is to divide and confuse the GOP.
1.
4) Trump is bringing up issues important to Americans both GOP/RAT refuse The only way to change America is to change the message.
Discussing The Kardashians is the message UniParty wants to keep talking about.
Hoping for:
1.
Fearing:
3.
As to 'dividing and confusing the GOP'. IT'S ABOUT TIME. SOMEONE HAD TO ROOT OUT THE RINOS! Trump is in it to win it. He CAN win it.
Partly 1, some of 2, but I hope he does well in laying some heavy groundwork for Cruz, getting these sorts of topics on the agenda.
Cruz will mop the floor with his opponent in any debate, likely in a way the media cannot spin.
Based upon his past history - # 2
WHY WOULD WE ELECT PRESIDENT A GUY WHO...?
Why would this country elect as president some guy who was known to regale friends with ni**er jokes, had a history of depression, was suicidal from time to time and eventually started an internecine war that took over 600,000 lives and...
What? Oh, yeah. THAT WAS LINCOLN! never mind!
Why would we elect president some guy who was not healthy and smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day, married his fifth cousin then had a notorious affair with his secretary and...
What? Oh, sorry, THAT WAS FDR!
How in the WORLD could we elect to the presidency some guy who was a 60s socialist radical, later married one even more radical than himself, wangled multiple deferments from MILITARY SERVICE while other kids his age were humping through the bush in Vietnam dodging bullets and who was a woman abuser and engaged in sexual misconduct in the Oval Office with a young intern then, under oath, perjured himself about it and...
What? Oh, right, THAT WAS BILL CLINTON! never mind!
But why the heck would we elect some guy raised by grandparents and some pornographer — all three of whom were on FBI “Communist Watch” lists in the 50s and 60s (back when the FBI actually did its job of trying to protect US) and whose mother posed nude for the pornographer before abandoning him and who has openly admitted to have been and probably still is a pot head and user of harder illegal substances and whose every action bespeaks a hatred for the nation he allegedly heads...
What? Oh, right. THAT WAS BARACK OBAMA! never mind!
I haven’t researched all the other folks we elevated to the highest elected office in this country. If I did, I’m sure I’d find warts and blemishes on ALL of them. And why would that be? BECAUSE, LIKE YOU AND ME, THEY’RE ALL IMPERFECT HUMAN BEINGS AND ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY.
Until some leftist journalist comes up with a fully documented list of things he has said or done
to convince me that he is attempting to prevaricate his way into the presidency (as the last guy did!) or that his profession of LOVE for America is also a lie, MY MONEY’S ON DONALD TRUMP.
But my support for The Donald is based more on how the current crop (or is that crAp) of political elites and their media lapdogs and handmaidens are GOING NUTS because he is articulating problems in terms WE USE IN OUR CONVERSATIONS OUT HERE IN FLYOVER COUNTRY, AND NOT TALKING ABOUT HOW BEST TO ARRANGE THE DECK CHAIRS ON THE FOUNDERING SHIP CALLED AMERICA.
Because the entrenched forces he faces have a 3 way program for dealing with outsiders (1. IGNORE; 2. DISCREDIT; 3. ELIMINATE), all we have to do is pray he REMAINS ALIVE through the debates, the election and, hopefully, on to January 20th, 2017 and an inauguration.

But at this stage, publicity and excitement is sorely lacking in the GOP. His presence so far is a net positive for the party for 2016.
IMO it’s simply too early to tell which of the three possibilities is the true truth.
I like what he is doing, stirring things up.
I am aware he has held different positions in the past and I’m willing to overlook that.
I am NOT willing to commit or reject at this moment. I’m glad he’s in the race.
I agree with Sundance at Conservative Treehouse. Trump is connecting to Main Street because we are a nation afraid of what has become of us, and the voice espousing the strongest direct attack on the Establishment is resonating best.
He’s independent, older, wants a great Americz again and is willing to lose potential future hundreds of millions to try and help.
I think he leads to 8 years of Cruz as well.
America again.
These tablets and my contacts make typing difficult.
The GOP has to develop a comprehensive policy to take care of this incredible problem that we have with respect to immigration, with respect to people wanting to be wonderful productive citizens of this country, - Trump
I believe it is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors, - Trump
2005 - Clinton’s at Trumps Wedding.
Trump is Bill Clinton’s golfing buddy.
” as a Democrat . .” - Trump
-
You need a fourth category, or to modify 3.
Trump is a distraction from candidates like Cruz, Walker and Fiorina .

Yowzzzah!!
Most posters here have never lived in NYC. They know almost NOTHING at all about Trump and many of their posts have been based on reportage about him, which they don't understand. They, like most of the pundits, need to understand that he made deals with/supported Dems, because yes, it was for his bottom line/crony capitalism. And he used the pols for his own adv advantage.
OTOH, America, is now his bottom line, so he will fight for this nation, should he get the nomination and that is WHY he is so popular now.
I am a Cruz all the way person, but I understand why, after decades of GOP-Eers NOT fighting for us, Trump is garnering not only attention, but support.
Trump is a pitbull and how many times have posters claimed that that is what wed need? Well, here he is !
Donald Strumpet
With an ego like Trump’s do you think he’d like being Hillary’s little troll?
