The man, who provided a full name but chose to remain anonymous, told Cryptozoology News that the encounters have been happening since 2009 in a remote area in the North Cascades.
Sometimes it is just 5 to 10 minutes, other times they stay for hours, he said. I leave them food and they visit, he continued.
From apples to carrots, to beef jerky, cookies and candy bars, the ex-law enforcement officer claims the creatures eat it all and leave him alone.
The man says he was looking for an old mine in the mountains the first time he came across the alleged beings in 2009.
...
He reports he was so close to them that he was able to catch some of their language in two different occasions.
They sounded similar to Native American and Asian mix, he explained, adding that he speaks some Asian and Native American Salish himself.
The creatures reportedly stand between 6 and 7 feet tall and probably weight around 500 pounds, females being a little lighter.
...
I am not in the forest to seek them, I look for something else. However, they appear to be getting closer to me each time, he said. I do not try and take their picture or bother them in anyway.
As to what these beings really are, the man believes he has a theory.
I think they may be a primitive human species that we know very little about. They appear to me very intelligent.

I am a bit reticent wrt UFOs... I have seen things I cannot explain, things beyond what we know... And I accept that UFOs are there (too much testimony in history and today)... But unlike Sasquatch, whose description has remained unchanging through hundreds of years, UFO evidence has largely been tied to the technology of men - A '50's photo looks like two hubcaps welded together, with improvements tracking technology - Easily determined decade by decade.
For that reason, according to the evidence, I am loathe to accept these as evidence for star travelers... Such a technology, capable of the long distances and dangers of space would be robust from it's beginnings just in order to get here...
What that means? I dunno.
So what? There are more students of Spanish in the US than there are of English.
When my husband saw his UFO, he had never even heard of them. He just knew that he had seen something really weird that seemed under intelligent control.
If you read the entire link, then you will have seen that scientists, including probably scientists at SUI had already begun messing around with weird waves back in the 1930s. Physics and astronomy were very excited about all the possibilities.
Some freeper the other night on some thread (religion maybe!?) was thinking how aliens were more like time travelers - fitting in with the technology of the time (like dirigibles, etc.)
I’m more and more thinking they are demons (ala Quix) rather than aliens from another planet given the physics and logistics.
Some bigfoot people think that they are some sort of other-dimension or alien. If they are real, I think they are just a rare big ape.
I know precisely the same thing as a matter of fact - That much with my own eyes.
Were these sightings just before they got on their UFO space ships and went off into the wild blue yonder?
I will reject that - Fancy, and all that, but what a mess if that which has been done can be undone, re-done, and etc... Where then is death and entropy? Cannot be so.
Im more and more thinking they are demons (ala Quix) rather than aliens from another planet given the physics and logistics.
Yes, I favor much the same, dimensional, I think, rather than interplanetary, requiring cooperation from man to accomplish, and extraordinary (difficult) to implement... Though I approach the thing from a more historical position to color my opinion... I do know that legend would have it that those who come from the sky tend (almost without exception) to be very bad news for man.
But as to what I KNOW, that would be what I can consider as fact. And I dare say that anyone who has spent any appreciable amount of time out in the bush, in the brilliance of the stars in the wilderness, absent the glare of city lights... Any such would have seen things that cannot be explained according to the current paradigm. Such is exactly the case with me. Nothing up close or anything... but plenty way up there...

Yes, I have heard the same - I will land somewhere in between... Natives here (I have direct contact with Salish/Kootenai, Blackfeet, Cheyenne) respect the Sasquatch, and I doubt that they would consider it an animal (as in the sense that we attribute to an ape). My own very limited experience with Sasquatch would suggest higher intelligence (use of tools, waymarkers, and an uncanny ability to disappear [tracking-wise]) - It takes more than 'animal' to watch one's back-trail, and design one's travel to deliberately confound tracking - and that purposefully and continually *.
* purposefully and continually - assumed because the sign I was on was older, with no apparent reason for obfuscation - it did not obfuscate because of me.
“And had one very wild experience in the back country that could be no other thing. “
I bet that’s a heck of a story.
It is apparent to me that the interviewer neglects to ask the most obvious question. The salient point would be, “Did the creature have big feet?”
I heard something awhile ago that was interesting - some person was studying these stories of UFO’s, Bigfoot, etc. from a human psychology angle. Assuming that they are just made up - what drives the human brain to come up with similar stories throughout time and culture and the world? So he was studying it from that viewpoint.
I don't publish it anymore - I can do without the ridicule.
It ain't made up. I have seen sign in-situ... and there are thousands of plaster casts... Even prints with anomalies from having been broken... Footprints require feet. Maybe it's because I see things different - Sign means a lot to me - Very hard to replicate or invent with accuracy that would fool a tracker.
