[NFL COUNTDOWN LIVE THREAD--]
NFC East Q&A: Who will win the division and who will make the playoffs?
Today's question: Who will win the NFC East and how many teams from the division will make the playoffs?
Todd Archer, Dallas Cowboys: Im going with the Cowboys.
Dan Graziano, New York Giants: The Dallas Cowboys should end the division's long streak without a repeat winner this year.
Phil Sheridan, Philadelphia Eagles: Until I see some tangible proof otherwise, Im going with the team that proved itself the best last year. Yes, Dallas--
John Keim, Washington Redskins: ...Ill opt for Dallas to become a repeat winner.

Gadzooks, all this anointing of my Boys... takes me back to the good old days when everyone and their bookie picked Landry's Redheaded Step-children to kick arse and take name on their well worn path to the Superbowl.
Ahhhhhhhhhh-- Those were the days.. nothing but gravy even when the Pokes did not get the golden ring.
BUT they beat... the spread!
Yes, campers, it is... almost TIME--
For Beers, Bullshite, Babes... and Beautiful, Bodacious Balls-to-the-wall--
Well, as Balls-to-the-wall as Roger 'The Codger'... will let 'em go NFL Football!!!!!
The Deadskins will tank... again--
AND The Dallas Cowboys will-- REPEAT-- WILL... WIN THE SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR!!!!!
Okay, okay--- I'll fight all you... who disagree--
Just as soon... as all the Martini glasses are empty--
Dalhart will win the NFC East and should win the NFC and go to the Superbowl.
I’m an Eagles fan, but it’s hard to pick against Dallas’s offensive line. Still, if Sam Bradford is healthy, the drill for defenses is going to be “you got some great tight ends, Darren Sproles running all over the place, some speedsters at the wideouts, and the best running back in the league coming barreling at you. Stop all that. By the way, you got 20 seconds to figure it all out.” If Bradford is healthy, the Eagles are going to be scoring 40+ points a few times against the weaker teams on their schedule.
Save some of those martinis for the end of the season, I suspect you’ll need them.
This is basic mathematics.
And I used the word "shall."
The Eagles will blow out weaker defenses and simply overwhelm anyone with a bad secondary or poor pass rush.
Therein lies the coin toss between the Boys and the Eagles. The first game comes after a MNF trip to ATL, and PHL gets DAL at home in week 2.
The second game comes in DAL Nov 8 after a bye for the Eagles.
I would not be surprised to see Dallas win the conference even after dropping two to Philly. I can see Philly at 9-5 or 10-6.
11-5 only comes if they sweep DAL.
It gives me no great pleasure to say it, but the Cowboys will probably repeat because of their excellence a one of the two important factors. They have an amazing offensive line. If their defensive line is nearly that great, they will go pretty far.
The NFC South will be a dog & cat fight tween the Panthers and Ain'ts with Vick's Old Team and Have a Tamp Bay holding firm at the bottom of the barrel--
The NFC West will find Aridzona continuing their hard luck as the Seahags slip by them, the St. Louie Ewes and Soap-on-a-rope Niners--
In the AFC East, I think the Doll-Phins' 'Second Best Aggie Quarterback in the NFL' will pull them past big's other team, the now foot fetishy Bills and gasless Jets--
The AFC North will be represented by Big Ben's Stoolers over them Blackbyrds from 'Don't Stop the Looters' Crab City, TCU North's Tiggers and Johnny's Browstains--
In the AFC South, Allegra's Texicans will come close, but no cigar as them Lucky Sumbitchin' Colts get the prize over the also ran Jags and Allegra's old Earlers--
Lastly, the AFC will see Manning Heavy's Last Hurrah fall short as my old Dallas Texans pluck the plum from the Broncos, Bolts & Seven's Waiders--
It will be big's Packers coming down to Jerryworld for the NFC Championship. They will leave with tears in their eyes and it will not be from a blown call by the Refs--
The Colts will visit the Stoolers in the AFC Championship, knocking Big Ben's Secondhand into the dirt--
And my Boys get their revenge for Superbowl V and chalk up a win!
Now, y'all's turn in the barrel and all... y'all disbelievers kiss my shiny metal arse!
I rest... my case--
Sam hasn't breathed a healthy season since 2011's high ankle sprain bothered him for the majority of the year and the Ewes finished 2-14. I see 2015 continuing his curse and Sanchez 2.0 is not Chip's answer either.
Well, I am prepared... for whatever comes--
NFC East
Cowboys, I write with trepidation
NFC North
King in the North: Aaron of House Rodgers and his Peck of Pickled Packers :( Congrats in advance, Big.

Yes, I’m trying to jinx them. ;-d
There’s the lots of love out there for the Lions and the Vikes, some people think my Bearlies are a lock for last place, John Fox aka El Zorro, the coach who was promised, could save them from that fate, but I don’t see anyone seizing the throne if the King is healthy.
NFC South: Fig Newtons
NFC West: Olde Chi Cardinals, dagnabit!
AFC East
Patriots. What, Brady suspension?, pffft. It it stands it will only fuel the rampage of vengeance they will inflict on the league. Unsexy Rexy’s Buffalo Wild Wings will be the runners up, over the Tuna and the Paper Planes
AFC North: Bengals won’t bungle, at least not until the playoffs
AFC South: Indy
AFC West: Sorry Peyton, Bolts! Yes really, they’ll have their act together, don’t look at me like that.
If he's 100% they could give the Seahawks a run for their money.
Last year the Cards were awesome, but the QB spot was beaten up badly.
Colts? yes.
Packers? Yes. Lions? Maybe make the playoffs, but no SB for them. Panthers? No.
Patriots? Yes, but Tom is getting old.
Bengals? No idea. Probably a playoff berth, but no farther.
Dallas? Yes. Could go all the way. Odds-on favorite.
Broncos? I'd LIKE for Peyton to get a second ring, but he is the choke-king. Probably his final year.
If McFadden can stay healthy. Something he has not done to date in his career. And watch out for the Iggles. If Bradford can stay healthy....
I hope so! The Bolts have underachieved for ten years. 'Bout time to get it done.
Probably... And the Broncos will have to baby him through the season at that. Last season he was spent by the time the playoffs came around.
I will root for the Redskins just so the PC crowd will have a collective stroke.
If the Cowboys still had DeMarco Murray in the backfield, they would be almost prohibitive favorites to win the Super Bowl.
The old RG3 will reappear and take his Skins ALL THE WAY!.... Now if you’ll exuse me, I must report back to The Home. Bed check you know.
