I saw an inexpensive laptop was upcoming for sale in 15 min. So I checked it out, ordinarily $230 or so. When the deal went live, it was being sold for $166. What a great deal! So I clicked on it (it must have been less than 2 seconds after the deal went "live") and got the "100% claimed" message. I suspect that the fix was already in.
Smells like a complete fraud to me.

That was my problem, and the waitlists.

I got several good deals including a Crucial 256gb Solid State Hard drive for 75 bucks delivered. (I got it for even less when I applied a discount I got in an email from Amazon and used two 5 buck Amazon gift cards I get from doing Bing searches.)
I got a 64gb memory stick for 8.95 delivered but had to get on the waiting list for that one. It went fast. I finally got the ship confirmation this morning.

Amazon doesn’t say how many laptops are for sale. My guess is, there was only one laptop for sale that’s why it was 100% claimed.
