Even after it was compromised by a WORLDWIDE FLOOD, G*D’s CREATION continues to AMAZE!
I like sea turtles. Amazing that just a few will make it to adulthood. Thanks for posting.
I’ve seen a show on tv about it.. won’t watch the video because if they show all the gulls and foxes etc.. eating them.. my morning will not be pleasant. I do remember that there are volunteers to help move the little guys into the water. I’d do that in a heart beat. (and yes, FReepers.. I know it is all about nature and little turtles serve as nutrition for other animals but I don’t like seeing it)
Video is seagull and predator free. Just cute, fun stuff.
Thank you.. I’m going to watch it now. I just wasn’t in the mood for little turtles being eaten this morning....
I watched it Joe and it is amazing!! Swim, little turtles, swim!!
BTW, if you love turtles, you'd love the Loggerhead Marinelife Center down here. Amazing work being done - completely funded by donations and staffed by volunteers. There is actually a turtle release today. Releases always draw large crowds.
.
Turtle soup with a side of shrimp...Love them both!!
Thanks for posting that. If I’m ever nearby, I’m going!
The latino music that plays tells me these are ILLEGAL BORDER-JUMPING MEXICAN TURTLES.
I often wonder in the whole circle of life if God’s plan for me is to be eaten by a bird as I struggle towards the surf.
being eaten this morning....
Yeah we have enough of us being eaten by zero.
Yeah I am too political.
xo
But they are cute and the few that live can live to an old age.
I LOVE it, Joe!! Looks like he (maybe she?) wants to bask a bit in his fame with his fan fare! Look at that beautiful day.. look at the ocean! You are one lucky man! Thank you for posting this picture.. makes me feel good that this turtle gets a second chance!! Hugs!!
Click on the link and if you click on the picture it will go into a slide show. I think 5 turtles got released today (which is rare - it’s usually 1 at a time). Most are injured by propellers or fishing line, then patched up and sent back out to sea! Glad you enjoy them as much as me!
