If you support SSM you think the practice is moral (I should hope), and if you’re a Christian who believes something is moral, almost by definition you need to believe Jesus thinks so too. There’s nothing doctrinal about this, by Carter’s own admission. It’s just “I feel strongly this is right, ergo God must as well.”

Carter was a disgrace when he ran for president the first time in 1976. He still is (a disgrace). I can’t think of a single good thing to say about him.

Does Jimmy believe anything in the Bible? I visited his home in Plains GA a few weeks ago and viewed his Baptist beginnings. Supposedly he still sweeps up around his church. Does being a democrat automatically make you an apostate?

Matthew 5: 17-19
“Think not that I come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Jimmy Carter fell off the stage a long time ago. HE never wanted to leave the stage, like an old hollywood actor who doesn’t see their time has passed.
His words in Matthew say differently. If Jesus would have supported homosexuality he would have made that know. Jimmy Carter- not really a Christian, this is just evidence.
