Thank you to The Five co-host Greg Gutfeld for calling out the media for their absurdity!
The Daily Caller reports: The Five co-host Greg Gutfeldblasted Bristol Palins haters Tuesday after her pregnancy announcement, saying they would have been more supportive if she simply had an abortion.
The Fox News personality went on to praise the daughter of Sarah Palin for choosing humiliation over convenience, adding that she took the pain, for it was more humane.
I get it, of course, the media would have been more supportive if she had an abortion. But then if she had, they never would have known she had the abortion and would miss out on the laughs. So good for them that she chose a pulse over a procedure and its burdens and punishment, Gutfeld said.
How pathetic is it that the media would be more supportive of me if I had chosen to kill my baby? Instead, they mock me because I am willing to choose to do what is natural and rightkeep my precious baby. And as a reminder, I never worked or pushed abstinence down anyones throat! I have always promoted pro-life and teen pregnancy prevention over all. Never once has it been abstinence only
Ive messed up, but Ive owned up to my mistake and am trying to move forward. Im so excited to raise my little blessing and see all that God has in store for this precious life!
(Thanks to the people at The Five for their comments.)
And here is where a logical discussion goes down the tubes. Where I get called a PDS’er. I’ve never even mentioned Sarah Palin.... But I guess now, a PDS’er is anyone who makes any remarks about “The Family”.
And I haven’t exploded. It’s going to take more than a fanatic to make me explode. Much more.
If it makes you feel better though. I conceed. You win and stuff. Yay. Good for you.
Well I am awesome so it was inevitable. It’s the power of Palin.
Holy crap!!!! That one comment just made me a fan of yours!
Funny as hell! Thanks for that, sir!
Call me Mamm...ish. I’m a transposter ;)
Well, that's very cute. Really, it is.
I guess none of us can, because we're all posting here (which is one of the purposes of the forum).
Your problem is that I'm not fawning over Bristol Palin, and I really can't help you with that.
PINK SHOES, huh?
Indeed....
Ii proposed to Gunner last week. Cheap XXick wants shock boots for his truck first.
That is a very silly thing to say. My wife, who was adopted, and who later gave up a baby for adoption, would tell you that in much stronger terms.
I agree. I would have thought a Marine was made of better stuff than that.
I was raised by a single parent and grandparents. I raised my daughter as a single parent after my wife died. At no point in either of our lives do either of us regret that.
Now should my mother have given me up because Dad went banging half the WAC corps or should I have turned my daughter over to strangers?
Because I would really like to know.
Certainly, no one should treat Ms. Palin hatefullly. But it isn’t hate to point out the note of incoherence in her actions.
Trust me they are not hurting. They can help Bristol with all the out of wedlock kids she wants to produce.
“Marriage is up to them.” Legally and practically, you are correct. However, no one lives in a vacuum, which means that making decisions based only on what the parties directly involved want would be unchristian. I know many people who had shotgun weddings because they were thinking beyond just what they (the bride and groom) wanted to do; they considered what would be best for the child, their families, and society.
If the new standard is, marriage is optional and you can do whatever you want, so long as you don’t have an abortion, then count me out. Not killing your baby is brave and I laud Bristol Palin for, as Greg Gutfeld on Fox said, choosing humiliation over convenience, but the bar must be raised. Bristol Palin and the father of this baby should marry and commit themselves to the child(ren). (If the father of the child is refusing to marry Bristol, then I have even more sympathy for her.)
You were the one who made the comparison. Nice try.
:)
This is why I want my son to be a Marine when he grows up!
YES! The father of Bristol Palin’s child should MARRY her TOMORROW.
Why don’t y’all just do the bridal registry at Advance Auto?
Oh, I absolutely agree with that.
You know, I hadn’t thought of that. It’s a beautiful thing when a woman can help two men find happiness on a conservative site in our gay new world.
I think FR has come a long way...
Is there a way to “Thumbs Up”???? You won me over. May not agree with everything you post but you have certainly made me laugh more than once! Thanks Mamm...ish!
