Media analyst Mark Dice asks beachgoers in San Diego, California some basic questions about America's 4th of July Independence Day celebration and their answers are quite disturbing.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
I now observe the 4th of July as a day of nostalgia for a nation that no longer exists.
maybe the dept of education should create ads for history and put it on youtube or start a tweet campaign...
as was stated in the source comments...they are from California.
I would bet dollars to donuts the morons who got the question wrong would all say Cinco De Mayo is Mexican independence day.
Well, it’s my birthday...
I bet next time I read the source and comments before running my mouth[fingers]. Thanks

But they won’t let him in here because he won’t be a non English speaking, America hating welfare grifter from Crapistan.
[H/T to Gefn for the ping.]
The Constitution if the United States has been thrown asunder and the People could not care less.
Funny how the term Constitutional Crisis was raised when Nixon was forced to Resign and Clinton was Impeached.
Haven’t heard that phrase mentioned once since the SCOTUS eviscerated the Tenth Amendment and lit the fuse to destroying the First Amendment’s guarantees of Free Speech and Religious Liberty.
If you pay attention, it becomes clear that a once Free People are willing to sell out their Country and their fellow Citizens to promote their Political ideology, the Constitution be damned. The ends do justify the means.
I would relish them asking these People about Inalienable Rights. None of them would have a clue.
Heck, People actually believe that the phrase “Separation of Church and State” is written in the Constitution. When you tell them it was the Brainchild of FDR’s first Appointment to the SCOTUS, a former Klansman and Democrat, they would refuse to believe you.
I think it is quite Ironic that in the Information age, where anything you need to do is just a few taps on a Keyboard away, that Ignorance of our History and the tenets of our Founding is so widespread.
Without Ignorance, Liberalism would cease to exist.
And I bet he cooks like a dream....or I’m just hungry at the moment. :)
( he had a nice accent too, IMHO)
It didn’t take much, to push it over.
History, schmistory!
Combined PING! and DANG!
So, you noticed the missing "constitutional crisis" language too. I made a remark along those lines a few days ago. I can understand the press avoiding this term, after all, the press is all-in progressive. But what about those "stalwart conservatives" in the GOP? Oh yeah, there aren't any.
Thank you teachers, you have done a great job. Bill Ayres won didn’t he?
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Not your usual reason for homeschooling, but I'm sure the ignorance of our national holidays can be laid at the feet of our America hating public school system.
Bingo!
BTTT!
I found no humor in that video. Truly depressing that there are people with absolutely no knowledge of our history and how our country was founded.
Our 9th grade homeschool curriculum this year included “For You They Signed” by Marilyn Boyer. It should be required reading for everyone in the country.
A good read....
