Well said, Windy.

My heart is very heavy also.

We see the whirlwind about to be reaped.

Another Freeper said it feels like 1859 in a 1938 world. I thought that to be an apt description of the times we live in today.

We can withstand the enemy outside—it is the enemy within that is the most dangerous.

We will soon be at odds with our own countrymen to a degree not seen in 150 years.

God bless.

But it so ‘t be just your own countrymen. It will also be a sizeable amount of 3rd worlders who see you as the problem with the world. I see it and feel it now whenever I venture into a place outside of my normal habitat.

That was me. That makes it much more dangerous. What if TSHF here at some point? How will Russia react? Red China? UK, France? Mexico and Canada since they are next to us? The EU or what's left of it. Then we have the likes of ISIS, Iran, the North Koreans. If one of the nuclear powers gets skittish, they could launch on us if they feel our nukes are compromised.

That's true and it will weaken us if we fight amongst ourselves. It hurts me to say this but i it came down to where I have to draw a bead on a fellow American out of necessity, I resolved that I will do so if there is no other way, but it will be with a heavy heart and a tear in my eye. I just hope God gives me the wisdom and strength to deal with it because I do not feel comfortable talking about it as well as feeling scared.

My mother passed away November 18th, 2013. When Barky was elected, every 4th of July when she heard God Bless America from the Boston Pops (or anywhere), she world cry. I turned to her, knowing the real reason but had to ask, "why?" She said, that Barky "is hurting his country, destroying it." Going to 2012, her last Christmas on Earth, as she was watching an old Andy Williams rerun, again she was crying and I asked again, knowing. She told me, "I wish we were back in the world of Andy Williams."

Damn if that doesn't say exactly what many of us are feeling.

It's why gun and ammo sales have been setting annual records over the last six years.
It's why the Dems lost over a thousand elections in 2014.
It's why we read so much dejected, hand-wringing, doom and gloom on this site.
It's why the red states are experiencing unprecedented levels of in-migration from the blue states.
I think it's also why the left has suddenly popped its cork, and are trying to realize every collectivist wet dream they've ever had.

We all feel a great reckoning of some kind approaching. The world (and this country) simply cannot continue on its present course. We're about to come completely off the rails of civilization. There are simply too many aspects of the culture that are crumbling, to sustain the 'thin veneer' much longer.

It's even hard to talk about this, as my thoughts run like a whirlwind. There are just too many moving pieces. It's difficult to fix my attention long enough on any one issue, to properly think it through, before several other bombs go off around me. And it's become relentless.

We will soon be at odds with our own countrymen to a degree not seen in 150 years.

As much as I'd like to see that possibility pass like a bad dream, I fear that you're right. The enemies of the republic will not let this rest until there's blood running in the streets. They aim to kill off the real American people and replace us with new citizens of their choosing and persuasion.

I think they're going to find that they've bitten off far more than they can chew. In the end, it is they who will feel the sting of crushing defeat. We The People never wanted this fight, but if they intend to have one, then by God, we're gonna finish it.
