I vote for conservatism and Trump is not
Reagan was a conservative democrat, Trump a liberal.
Reagan was also a Republican for decades prior to running for president and never looked back once he switched. He certainly never said, "I probably identify more as a demcoRAT" as Trump did in 2004, he never gave money to the democRAT party as Trump has done and he didn't show liberal leanings once he switched.
Are you really that stupid?
You want to mention Reagan being a democrat in the 1930s and 1940s to explain your 69 year old liberal goofball, becoming a democrat in 1999 through 2009 and Obama?
Do you see how ridiculous that is?
I feel the same.
Trump will be non-stop financial scandals.
I don’t see it as ridiculous at all.
Thanks.
I won’t vote for Trump. period.
You aren’t so smart, and even you switched from the democrats, as Reagan was sitting in California as a Republican governor in the 1960s.
That isn’t Trump’s story, he was a democrat in 2009, under Obama, and he had at one time been a republican.
The last democrat president that Reagan voted for was Harry Truman in 1948, when Trump was a little kid, Donald Trump in 2009, as a 63 year old ex republican, was in Obama’s party.
Yeah, you are being worse than ridiculous.
Reagan actually raised money for democrats when he was a union leader and a democrat.
This is a primary, no nut case, pro-abortion, anti-gun liberals.
Just saying.
Reagan was great.
Sure, from 1946 through 2009 he didn’t learn anything conservative, and at age 63 was a democrat under Obama.
And now he is suddenly conservative, get real.
Contrast that to liberal Donald Trump who continued to give large to the democRATs even after he "claimed" to be a Republican and there is a clear difference between the two.
It it both amazing and sad that anyone would be so desperate to defend a liberal like Trump that they would stoop so low as to besmirch the memory and good name of one of America's greatest conservative presidents. Sad indeed.
If Trump were to run in a primary, his votes wouldn’t even come close to the # of people he’s burned in bankruptcy.
LOL, you mean in the 1940s, when he was a democrat?
Yeah, heard about that, what does that have to do with Trump?
You think that this is 1930s and 1940s America and WWII America again, and that Trump was right to be in the party with Obama, after leaving Reagan’s republican party?
Ha, It’s not that he is a Conservative - he is not! I just like that he is pushing others running for office to actually say their views against his and he does have some refreshing views. Isn’t that refreshing?
You are too worried about his credentials instead of how he is affecting those running and their truthfulness. I welcome his actions or to many his distractions.
You have no idea about Reagan, and you keep attacking him for a man that left Reagan’s republican party, and was a democrat under Obama’s presidency.
Trump seems to be doing just fine without your support.
THE OL’ SWITCHEROO
Ronald Reagan, 1962
He may be the patron saint of limited government, but Ronald Reagan started out as a registered Democrat and New Deal supporter. An F.D.R. fan, the Gipper campaigned for Helen Gahagan Douglas in her fruitless 1950 Senate race against Richard Nixon and encouraged Dwight D. Eisenhower to run for President as a Democrat in 1952.

You guys are getting desperate.
I said Reagan was great.
Try to keep up, please. :D
